What’s nearby: Lake Wenatchee State Park offers a boat launch, a larger sandy beach, paddleboard or kayak rentals, and hiking trails, all just seven miles away. Take the scenic, 25-mile drive to Leavenworth for shopping, dining, wine tasting rooms, and year-round festivals. And during the winter months, you’ll find cross-country skiing at various nearby sno-parks or head to Stevens Pass Mountain Resort, 30 miles east, for superb downhill skiing.
