A bit further out, be sure to visit Galveston’s 61st Street Fishing Pier (11.9 miles), Pleasure Pier (14.5 miles), and Strand Historic District (15 miles). The whole family can have a great day in the Moody Gardens area (12.2 miles) which features an aquarium, water parks, a theme park, and a zoo.
