Okemo features more than 100 different trails for skiing, snowboarding, and hiking, making it a veritable winter wonderland. During the warmer months, Okemo’s Adventure Zone offers a multitude of family-friendly activities such as a climbing wall, a bouncy house, disc golf, a mountain coaster, and an indoor pool, to name a few. You’ll also find sugar shacks to visit where you can sample genuine Vermont maple syrup, and 10 miles away in Weston is the famous Vermont Country Store. There is biking at the Evolution Bike Park and lots to see at Buttermilk Falls, Camp Plymouth State Park, and Healdville Trail.
After exciting days out and about, return to your vacation home and its 70 acres of land begging to be explored. Lounge blissfully on the furnished deck taking in the Vermont air while indulging in the mountain view or step inside to the large living area to get cozy in front of the wood-burning fireplace. While the group chef prepares something in the well-equipped kitchen, snag one of the provided books and catch up on some reading. Meanwhile, the kids will love frolicking in the large yard before gathering at the dining table together.
