Head three miles northeast to the Shaver Lake Marina for a day of boating on the lake, or lace up some sturdy boots and head two miles northwest for some hiking on trails leading up Mt. Stevenson. If you’ve come during the winter months, make sure to bring your ski or snowboard gear for the thrilling slopes 20 miles northeast at China Peak Mountain Resort.
