Try Home Slice Pizza! Continental Club is a ’can’t miss’ for live music. The Saturday ’matinee’ show from about 4-7 is a favorite to many. It’s free and the band is twangy and smoking hot. Other SoCo attractions include Perla’s (seafood), Jo’s Coffee next to Hotel San José (a great place for a cocktail), South Congress Cafe (a great spot for brunch), Vespaio (Italian), June’s, Torchy’s Tacos. The heart of Austin is one and a half mile away, just across the Congress Bridge. For those who are outdoor fans, Zilker Park is one of the most popular attractions here and is less than three miles away from you.
