Molalla River Cottage is comfy and bright, tastefully decorated, and offers a pleasant respite for those seeking peaceful relaxation in a beautiful rural setting. Entering the front door you will find a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare your own meals if desired. As you walk through the kitchen you will find the open living room with gas burning fireplace and hardwood floors. There is a comfy sofa, chairs, and a daybed for lounging or sleeping. Togetherness awaits whether you choose to relax with a good book or enjoy a movie or music on the DVD player.

The back porch provides a peaceful place to relax by the creek on a warm and sunny summer day or a BBQ on the gas grill in the evening. Perhaps the most appealing feature of this lovely cottage is easy access via a short marked trail through meadow/pasture to the beautiful Molalla River. The trail leading to the river is slightly steep at the end. The river changes with the seasons and the cottage owners provide a lovely sitting area by the river with firepit for quiet reflection.

This small town, while not as well-known as some of Oregon's larger cities, provides a tranquil escape with a strong sense of local heritage and a connection to the natural world.
For those with a penchant for history, the Molalla Area Historical Society operates the Dibble House Museum and the Vonder Ahe House, both of which offer a glimpse into the pioneer life of the 1800s. These well-preserved structures allow visitors to step back in time and appreciate the rich history of the region.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find Molalla's proximity to the Cascade Range and the Molalla River a true treasure. The Molalla River Recreation Corridor is a haven for activities such as fishing, hiking, and horseback riding, with trails winding through lush forests and along the scenic river. The Molalla River State Park, located at the confluence of the Molalla, Pudding, and Willamette rivers, is another excellent spot for picnicking, boating, and wildlife viewing.
For those seeking a thrill, the Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo is an annual event that draws crowds from all over with its exciting rodeo competitions, carnival rides, and fireworks. This event, deeply rooted in the town's culture, showcases the community's spirit and its connection to the cowboy traditions of the American West.

Hikers can tackle the challenging trails leading to the summit of Table Rock, where they are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including Mount Hood and Mount Jefferson on clear days.
The local farms and vineyards around Molalla invite visitors to enjoy the bounty of the valley. Seasonal activities like pumpkin picking, hayrides, and wine tasting are not only enjoyable but also provide a taste of the agricultural lifestyle that thrives in this fertile region.
