Ice skate at the Mammoth Ice Rink and ski at the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, only four miles west. Hike the John Muir Trail or explore the surrounding lakes including Lake Mary and Duck Lake, all just a few miles south. Check out the Devil’s Postpile, a fascinating formation of columnar basalt, and Rainbow Falls is also well worth the trip!
