Perched on top of a bluff, Ocean Breeze has two levels that include a comfortable living room on the main floor surrounded by ocean view windows. Here, you’ll have a TV with a number of entertainment amenities, as well as plenty of seating in front of the fireplace with faux electric fire for ambience. There’s also a table for board games and puzzles. A formal dining room provides seating for everyone, plus there’s an additional dining table at one end of the galley kitchen. You can play chef in this bright, well-equipped space, with a newly installed dishwasher! Besides the oceanfront deck, there’s also the stone trail down to the private hot tub for a relaxing evening soak. It’s just the thing for sore muscles after a day of hiking or biking along the coastal headlands.
From here, it’s a short drive to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens - peruse outdoor gardens and exhibits dedicated to the Northern California Coast. Flora is seasonal and includes everything from rhododendrons in the spring to camellias in the winter. If you continue north a couple more miles, you can spend the day in picturesque Fort Bragg. Visit galleries, take a ride on the renowned Skunk Train, or head to the Sea Glass Museum. There are also a number of restaurants to choose from after you’ve worked up an appetite, and if you head a bit farther north, you can stop at Pacific Star Winery along Highway 1.
If you feel like heading south from Ocean Breeze, the charming village of Mendocino is a short drive away. Here, you will also find a number of unique shops and galleries, as well as Patterson’s Pub - the perfect place to enjoy your favorite beverage. Additional attractions within ten miles of your home include Pomo Bluffs Park, Mackerricher State Park, Big River Beach At Mendocino Headlands State Park, Van Damme State Park, and Little River Inn Golf Course.

There are two non-functioning fireplaces in this home, one in the living room and one in the downstairs bedroom. The baseboard heater in the kitchen/den is non-operational; however, the kitchen/den is equipped with a cozy free-standing propane stove.
When booking this vacation rental, the home you have rented is unable to accommodate children under 12. If you do have children in your group under 12, we would be happy to find another great home for your stay. We do apologize for this inconvenience.
