Tenuta Pian del Gallo is set in a tranquil valley on a traditional
winery estate, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. This spacious
holiday home offers a luxurious stay for large families and groups of
friends, with stunning panoramic views over the Chianti landscape. The
estate covers approximately 5½ hectares, offering guests plenty of
space and privacy.
The lively town of Greve is less than 2 km away and can be reached on
foot. Here guests will find a good selection of shops, including a
supermarket, as well as many restaurants. The surrounding area is
perfect for wine lovers, with numerous renowned wineries and the
owner’s own winery offering on-site wine tastings. Other famous Chianti
towns such as Radda, Gaiole and Volpaia are within easy reach.
Florence, Siena and San Gimignano are also excellent destinations for
unforgettable day trips.
The estate consists of an impressive natural stone farmhouse dating
back to the 18th century with mint-green shutters, together with a
former barn partially covered with vines. Between the two buildings
lies a paved courtyard decorated with flower beds and distinctive trees
in large terracotta planters. This area serves as a large terrace with
long dining tables for shared meals as well as smaller tables for more
private moments. Surrounding the property are manicured gardens with
wide lawns and Mediterranean plants.
Inside, both buildings have been carefully restored, preserving
traditional features such as wooden beamed ceilings and brick archways.
These elements contrast beautifully with the bright décor and
contemporary, stylish furnishings. Spacious interiors create a
wonderful sense of openness, making this the perfect place to
experience authentic Tuscan life in comfort and style.
