This light-filled home enjoys gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean, migrating whales, and the Point Arena Lighthouse. Calming and comfortable, it’s a place to spend your days beachcombing, tidepooling, and stargazing in some of the clearest night skies you’ve ever seen. On a clear evening, guests may be lucky enough to spot the green flash as the sun sets!
This home sits a few miles north of small-town Manchester and is near the secluded beach of Manchester State Park. A 2-minute drive or a 10-minute walk will get guests to a 5-mile beach stretch by a private gated community road. Go for morning walks to look for sea lions playing in the waves, and take scenic drives to explore the trails of Point Arena-Stornetta Public Lands National Monument (nine miles), the tiny town of Elk (nine miles), and the artists colony of Mendocino (26 miles).
After a day out and about on the wild North Coast, it’s a joy to return to this ocean view retreat. Watch the sunset as you dine alfresco on the deck.
