Welcome to Highlander Cabin! This cozy log cabin in the Deep Gap area just east of Boone is the magical mountain getaway you’ve been craving!
As you enter the home you’ll love the classic cabin feeling in the great room. This room offers exposed-beam vaulted tongue & groove ceilings, a stone gas fireplace with TV mounted above and cozy furniture arranged in front of it, dining table for 6, and a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island that also has 2 bar stools. Newly installed fiber internet keeps you connected while you relax.
Highlander Cabin offers 3 beautiful bedrooms for you to enjoy. On the main level is a King suite with TV and access to the deck, and the private bath has a tub/shower combo.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms. One has a King bed and the other has a set of twin-over-full bunk beds, and each room has a TV. These two rooms share a full bath with a tub/shower.
You’re sure to love relaxing outside on the deck and enjoy the cool mountain air. The main level deck has a selection of Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. Enjoy the views of the timeless Blue Ridge mountains rolling into the distance and relax in the newly added 6 seater hot tub!
Highlander Cabin is located just east of Boone in the picturesque Deep Gap area, very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the town of Boone is just a scenic 15 minute drive away. All of the best shopping, dining, and attractions in the High Country are close by as well. Come make Highlander Cabin your home away from home!
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home allows up to 3 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
-This home has a gravel driveway with parking capacity for 4 vehicles. There are 6 steps to enter the main level.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
