The main level of Bald Mtn Lodge features an open-concept great room, dining area, and kitchen with wood floors, vaulted, tongue-and-groove wood ceilings, and exposed beams. A huge wood-burning fireplace is centered in a stacked-stone wall with an HD Smart TV atop the mantle. Comfy leather furniture, additional seating, and reclaimed-wood coffee and side tables complete the great room. A wall of glass windows and doors opens up unobstructed layered mountain views, including Bald Mountain and Elk Ridge. Dine up to 10 guests comfortably at the banquet-style dining table with extension. Two more can sit at the adjacent kitchen island for a total of 12 seats. The kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counters, and hickory cabinets. A half bath/powder room is central and convenient, and the open-air deck spans the length of the house, wrapping around the side, features outdoor seating, a stainless gas grill, and an outdoor picnic dining table, all of which look out at the picturesque mountain views.
Also on the main level is a generous King master suite with exposed beams and tongue-in-groove wood ceilings, glass doors leading out onto a side deck with Adirondack armchairs, a cozy sitting area with a comfy armchair and side table, an HD Smart TV, and a fantastic ensuite master bathroom with a large slate tile shower and a garden-style soaking tub.
The upper level features a quiet, cozy loft sitting area with twin leather armchairs and two more bedrooms, each with a queen bed and vaulted ceilings. One of the two upper bedrooms also has a twin trundle bed, and the other has an HD Smart TV. There is a central bathroom upstairs with a tub and shower combo.
The lower level boasts a huge den and game room with a wood-burning fireplace, an HD Smart TV with an Xbox One, a leather sofa that opens up to offer a Queen sleeper bed, an air hockey table, a shuffleboard table, and a dartboard. The lower level also has a large bedroom with a king bed and an HD Smart TV. Another full bathroom downstairs offers a tub and shower combo. There is a laundry room on the lower level with a washer and dryer and a walk-out courtyard that looks out at the views. There is a hot tub here as well.
The owners have generously stocked the lodge with kayaks and tubes to use at the nearby New River, which is less than one mile away, as well as two bicycles for guests to enjoy. Beside the lodge is a stone courtyard with a wood-burning fire pit. The level parking area can accommodate 3 to 4 cars.
