This is a cosy retreat for 4, close to the centre of Elterwater, in the heart of the Langdale Valley This is a delightful and well planned property right in the heart of Elterwater and the Langdale Valley. Well furnished and equipped, this lovely little cottage has everything you need for a stay in the Lakes, with an open plan kitchen-diner-living space, with Smart TV and log burner, two double bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a separate bathroom. There is parking for one car directly outside the property. If you have a second car there is a carpark in the village and you can find parking nearby in a few locations. Guests have access to the whole house, with parking at the front of the property. We are Property Manager Cottages, located in Elterwater. Our office is a small converted barn only 150m away, so we are on hand to help you during your stay with us. Elterwater is at the heart of one of the best loved areas of the Lake District – the gateway to Langdale and some of the most dramatic scenery in the Lakes and best loved fells and pikes. Elterwater also has one of the area’s most iconic pubs; The Britannia Inn, and home to the Eltermere Inn where you can book for fine dining (posh grub). Elterwater is only 5 miles from Ambleside, which is a busy little town offering a large choice of pubs, restaurants and shops as well as a few cinemas for rainy family days. Langdale is in our opinion the heart of the lake district with the most fantastic lumpy scenery and some of the most iconic peaks and fells. Please note that this property is generally booked for weekly breaks with a changeover on Saturdays.
