Be one of the first to enjoy this unparalleled experience. Tucked away within the northwest hills of Helvetia, barely 15 miles from downtown Portland, this 5,300+ square foot farmhouse features panoramic provincial and regional views from almost any window.
The farmhouse has been recently updated with new décor and furnishing to help create that perfect blend of comfort and style. Upon entering the main level you are greeted with a bright and open foyer. One entire side of this home enjoys a huge open living, dining, and kitchen layout making it the perfect place for incredible meals and amazing memories. Both in the kitchen, and other areas of the home you will find a blend of countertops at both average height and a bit lower. If you absolutely must get some work done while staying, there are two great office spaces so you can be productive between your adventures.
Just beyond the main living room sits an epic patio setup complete with covered seating. If you love the outdoors, spend time taking in the outdoors on the rocking chairs or one of the other locations that enjoy the farm fresh air and picturesque beauty that surrounds this idyllic location.
The enormous six car garage has been converted into a wonderful game space with a casual vibe. Play some ping pong, foosball, or cornhole, before you relax and stream or play a something fun on the TV here as well. We made sure to install an extra refrigerator to keep your cold drinks and snacks close.
Ascending upstairs there are five additional bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms. Toward the central part of this floor is a cozy sitting area, which is perfect for reading a book or taking in the sights. One of the highlights of the home is the adjoining immense great room with billiards table (lowered slightly from standard), game tables, an elevated seating area with a huge 80" TV where you can watch your favorite movie or game.
The property is accessed through a private gated entry that will lead you down a tree lined driveway to the home with ample parking for everyone. Several large grass areas around the property can be utilized by guests, however some of the more unique farm features can be viewed from a distance, they are *not* accessible or included in the rental. This includes but is not entirely limited to the ’Western Town, Castle, Barns, Pond, etc.) Pictures both before booking and after the fact have been provided for clear boundaries.
We mention all this because, as you may have already realized, this is the home of the Roloff Family from "Little People Big World" on Discover/TLC. If so, you will surely recognize this iconic home as the family home and backdrop of the series for over 15 years.
Special note: This is an active farm. There are times when there will be people and machinery working and taking care of this beautiful space. Please also note there is a single security camera that is front facing on the parking and driveway area that is purely for security purposes.
Please be aware, this property is not pet friendly. No pets are allowed with the exception of specifically trained service animals.
This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don’t reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.
*PUMPKIN SEASON IN OCTOBER: Actual pumpkin patch visitors will NOT have direct access to the house on foot, however our group wagon tours will circle in front of the home approximately twice an hour. We have a live employee on a microphone who narrates so there will be some additional noise along with the wagon crossing. There may also be a slight disruption coming and going up the main driveway due to traffic. Any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
