Cozy, stylish and artistic, this fully furnished Terpsikhore apartment at Muse Residence is located at one of the friendliest yet classic neighborhoods of Athens right at the footsteps of Acropolis and Filoppapou Hill and just a breath away from the most picturesque and historical sights and Plaka. Excellent public transport links to Metro, busses and trolleys can get you anywhere around the city, airport and Pireas port.
The Space
This 1-bedroom apartment is located in the heart of one of the most historical, interesting and hip areas of Athens, Koukaki, just a few meters away from the beautiful Filopapou Hill, the ancient spot that all modern Athenians love for its great vibe and the wonderful view of the city and the Parthenon.
The apartment is on the first floor, bathed in light, with high ceilings and one spacious balcony with a view to the hill. With air-conditions and heat panels in all rooms, the apartment is hot in winter and fresh in summer. The apartment is a part of the “Muses Residence” a small block with only 3 other rental apartments.
I have recently renovated it with love and respect to its classic character with a modern touch. I hope you find here all the comforts you have at home!
It is fully furnished with modern and stylish furniture and fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, espresso maker, toaster, hot water kettle and microwave oven.
It has one master bedroom with a private balcony, smart TV (Netflix ready) spacious closets and a safe.
The living room has a stylish dining bar table with nice interior plants, stereo with speakers and a comfortable couch that can sleep extra two people when open.
Between other amenities you will find DVD player, smart TV connected to NETFLIX, very good Wi-Fi – ideal for those who work remotely! – Air condition in every room and laundry area on the rooftop.
At the rooftop, there is also a great view to Filopapou hill.
The apartment has a security door lockable from the inside, that opens with a security code. The building main entrance door has a camera and is security enabled as well.
There is no garage for your car, but you can find a free parking place right under the apartment 24/7.
Neighbourhood Description
Enjoy a wonderful stay at the classic neighborhood of Athens and meet the best sides of the city!
The neighborhood is quiet with friendly residents and classic, art deco buildings, artistic cafes, bars and family owned tavernas serving home cooked food, tiny stores with design clothes and accessories or locally produced delicacies. Right next door you will find a nice gallery café, while the supermarket, the bakery, the liquor store and the pharmacy are just a few meters away.
The trolley stop is right next-door and will take you directly to the Metro Fix station if you want to avoid walking for 10 minutes.
Within 10 minutes walking distance you arrive at the famous Acropolis museum, the Parthenon, Syntagma square, Plaka, Thisio, the National Museum of Modern Art that just opened and all the famous historical spots of the city.
Just around the corner you will, also, find a little square with nice cafés, snack bars and trendy cocktail bars for your night out.
Getting Around
No matter where you want to go, you will find the easiest way to move around.
If you like walking, just 10/15 minutes away you reach Acropolis, Plaka, Syntagma and some of the most famous sights of Athens.
If you want to take a taxi a central road is right in front of the house and taxis are passing quite often.
The public transport has excellent links to the location of the apartment.
