Casa di Eolo is an attractive, romantic house in the silent setting of the Marche hills between the blue of the sea and the green of the Monti Sibillini. It has a magnificent view, of poetic inspiration, over the hill of the "Infinito", the hill celebrated in the poem of the same name by the famous poet, Giacomo Leopardi. Just as magnificent is the view of Monte Conero, an expanse of Mediterranean brush between the sky and the sea. You will be seduced by the tasteful decor of the house, by the unexpected details that personalise the rooms, by the modern functionality of the accessories and by the cosy and comfortable bedrooms. In its green setting, the house is ideal for a relaxing holiday for families or for young couples who will enjoy the marvels of the Marche hinterland.
Interior:
The house has two floors. The basement floor, reached by external stairs, is composed of a large open-plan living area with dining table, kitchen with centre island and a guest bathroom. Not communicating with the basement, but next to the entrance, is a double sofa bed and a bathroom with shower. An internal staircase leads up to the ground floor, with separate entrance, composed of four double bedrooms and three bathrooms with shower. One of the bedrooms has direct access out to the beautiful pool and garden.
Park:
The grounds of the property extend for 1.500 sq m, partly planted and partly paved. In the garden, on the same level as the bedrooms, are olive trees and ornamental plants as well as the enchanting L-shaped infinity pool. A wooden gazebo, close to the main entrance, allows guests to enjoy pleasant meals surrounded by the tranquillity of nature. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens’ grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The pool, in a panoramic position, is next to the house on the same level as the bedrooms. Its distinguishing characteristic is its L-shape (surface area of about 50 sq m) with a varying depth of 1,10 to 1,60 m. It has chlorine purification and access to the water is down large steps set on the short side of the L. The 70 sq m sunbathing area is provided with 10 sunbeds, a gazebo and a small table. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday in October.

About the area
Marcelli, a charming coastal town in the Marche region of Italy, is a hidden gem that offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of more crowded tourist destinations. With its picturesque beaches along the Adriatic Sea, Marcelli is a haven for those seeking sun, sea, and sand. The town's long stretches of sandy shores are perfect for sunbathing, while the clear blue waters invite swimming, sailing, and windsurfing.
The town's promenade is lined with a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, where visitors can indulge in delicious local cuisine, including fresh seafood and the region's famous white wines, such as Verdicchio. The evening passeggiata (leisurely walk) along this promenade is a beloved ritual that offers a glimpse into the relaxed Italian lifestyle.
Marcelli is also an excellent base for exploring the natural beauty and historical sites of the Marche region. The nearby Conero Regional Park is a natural paradise, offering hiking trails through lush forests and to dramatic cliff-top views over the sea. The park is home to diverse flora and fauna, as well as secluded beaches that can be reached by foot or by boat.
For those interested in history and culture, the medieval hilltop town of Loreto is just a short drive away. Loreto is famous for its Basilica della Santa Casa, a shrine that is said to contain the house in which the Virgin Mary lived. The basilica's stunning architecture and art are a draw for pilgrims and art enthusiasts alike.
Another nearby attraction is the city of Ancona, the capital of the Marche region. Ancona's rich history is evident in its ancient Roman ruins, such as the Arch of Trajan, and its Renaissance cathedrals. The city's port also offers the opportunity for day trips to other Adriatic destinations.
Marcelli's blend of beautiful beaches, cultural experiences, and proximity to natural and historical sites makes it an ideal destination for travelers looking for a more authentic and tranquil Italian vacation. Whether you're lounging on the beach, savoring the local gastronomy, or exploring the surrounding region, Marcelli provides a delightful Italian experience that caters to a variety of tastes and interests.
