With the charming village of Kennebunkport just half a mile down the road, you’ll be able to walk to an assortment of wonderful restaurants, shops, galleries, and lobster shacks from this classic, comfortable home. As you ride your bikes back from the beach each afternoon, you’ll be greeted by a glassed-in sun porch that’s perfect for reading, playing card games, or simply enjoying the view of the surrounding neighborhood. Inside, the living room, dining room, and kitchen come together in a light-filled space with hardwood floors, lovely wainscoting, and a built-in window seat. There’s a gas fireplace to toast your toes as you watch the wall-mounted flatscreen TV (one of three in the house), space to dine at both the circular dining table and the two-person peninsula breakfast bar, and a separate study just off the kitchen that houses another flatscreen TV and the sofabed. There’s a gas grill on the patio, and free WiFi to complement the cozy workspace in one of the upstairs bedrooms.
