This spacious abode for 12 balances the natural peace and quiet of the area with a great selection of activities for visitors year-round! This getaway lies in a secluded cul-de-sac fifteen miles northeast of Shaver Lake Village. The town’s shops and restaurants are only moments away when you need them, but you’ll be surrounded by swaying trees and stunning views of the forest from the decks on every level. There’s space enough in this home for everyone to get nice and comfy. Find a recipe in one of the cookbooks to try in the well-equipped kitchen. You can dine indoors or bring your food out to the deck for some fresh mountain air. When night falls, gather around the wood stove and challenge everyone at one of the many board games available before heading off for a good night’s sleep.
Visiting in the summer, make sure to stop by Shaver Lake (15 miles away) for some fishing, swimming, water sports, or simply picnicking on the shore. You can also head over to Huntington Lake (only 7.2 miles away). If you’re into off-roading, Red Mountain OHV trailhead is less than one mile from the cabin. China Peak Mountain Resort is open for mountain biking in the summer and also has become a popular wedding venue for summertime weddings! Mono Hot Springs is 26 miles away and is home to over a dozen natural mineral hot springs along the San Joaquin River. There are plenty of nearby hiking trails. Visiting in the winter? Head over to China Peak Mountain Ski Resort, only 6 miles away, where you can enjoy the pristine ski trails! Visit one of several nearby Sno-Park areas to enjoy sledding with the family. The Red Mountain OHV trails are a popular destination for snowmobilers in the winter.
