River Bend Ranch is a private ranch in Durango, Colorado located just five miles (10 minutes) from historic downtown Durango. Our three bedroom, two bath cabin is set among the willows and pines on our private trout pond and also features a covered deck with a wood stove.
We are located on the Million Dollar Highway in the Animas Valley on the way to Purgatory Ski Area (20 minutes) and Silverton (50 minutes).

Come to River Bend Ranch and enjoy the beauty of the Animas Valley and one of the most unique properties in Durango. The cabin is equipped Cable TV and and free wireless Internet.
Things to know about your stay.
We are a working horse and cattle ranch, but our operations will not interfere with your stay. We also have a world class wedding and event venue on a five acre lake close to the cabin. You have access to the outdoor areas on the property except when an event is in progress, which of course will not interfere with your use of the cabin, deck, and pond. And, you’ll always have access to the Animas River.
Our private trout pond is about 20 yards from your back deck. It is not fenced and you must keep close watch on children or those that cannot swim. Please do not reserve the property if you have safety concerns as it relates to the the access to the pond or the Animas River.
The Durango Silverton Train by the property daily (mid morning and early afternoon).
We are taking appropriate steps to prepare for your stay, and have asked all housekeepers to adhere to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting. In addition to their regular rigorous cleaning regimen, they are following housekeeping best practices, paying close attention to high touch surfaces, and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for hard (non-porous) surfaces, soft (porous) surfaces and electronics. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per manufacturer’s guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure. One of the ways we’re doing this is through no-contact guest access via our keyless entry system. We look forward to welcoming you and hosting your stay.
