Where will I be? The Werri Shack is under two hours south of Sydney and is situated in the picturesque coastal town of Gerringong. This beach house is located on the coast in dairy and wine country - "where the mountains meet the sea". Why choose The Werri Shack? This funky little beach shack offers views from headland to headland, a spectacular sunrise and a fantastic opportunity to watch the whales from the deck during the migratory seasons. The Werri Shack is located in a quiet street and is just a very brief walk to the beach or village centre. This contemporary beach shack and its layout has chill, relax, & fun written all over it. With two living areas, a large balcony with BBQ, a secondary outdoor area with additional dining area and day bed offers space to relax, escape or simply enjoy good times with family and friends. Two televisions, Foxtel (not including sports channels), Sonos Sound, unlimited Wi-Fi, PlayStation, table tennis, day beds and the mandatory surfboard rack, all add to the comfort and charm! How is the property laid out? The Werri Beach Shack has Three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located upstairs, with the master offering one king sized bed & Bedroom 2 has a flexible configuration whereby it is made up as one king sized bed, however that can be split into two king singles by arrangement at the time of booking. The kitchen is well equipped with coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and has a sevrery window opening up to the deck. Downstairs you will find Bedroom 3 with two single beds. The living area on this level has two day beds & quality linen is provided. There is also a table tennis, lounge, TV and glass sliding door to outdoor area and backyard. Bathrooms and separate toilets are located on both levels with the downstairs bathroom accommodating both a washing machine and dryer. Bedding configuration - please note that Bedroom 2 upstairs can be spilt into two singles or can be left in the default configuration of a king bed. Please let us know a preference at the time of making your booking. Bedding configuration request made after that time cannot always be accommodated. Wi-Fi, Netflix, Pay TV - will I have it? This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan. What about outdoors? The Werri Shack has a spacious undercover back deck off the kitchen dining area upstairs which overlooks a fenced garden. There is a large timber table with chairs, sun lounger and gas BBQ. Downstairs there is a large sliding door opening to an undercover outdoor area with dining table and chairs and a very comfortable daybed. The garden is fully enclosed to keep your pet safe. Staying warm or keeping cool? There is a gas fire in the upstairs living room, portable heaters, an outdoor gas heater is provided on the back deck to keep you warm in Winter. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms to keep you cool in Summer. Louver windows and doors can be opened to catch the sea breeze. What about sheets, towels and other supplies? Quality pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel! Parking for cars, boats etc.? There is off street, open air parking for two cars on the driveway. Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? The Werri Shack is a pet friendly property, subject to the following rules: - Pets must be declared at time of booking. - Please BYO pet bedding, bowls, etc. - Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house. - Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms. - The yard is fully fenced, and there is an off leash zone on Werri Beach as well as a selection of dog exercise areas located throughout the region. Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately What are the minimum stay rules? - Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property - Easter: 4 nights - Long Weekends: 3 nights - All other times: 2 nights Are there any special Summer Season rules? Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
