You will be evicted if this rule is broken. Where will I be? Black Cockatoo is conveniently located in Burradoo, just 3 kms from the main street of Bowral. It is close to town, public walking tracks, parks and train stations. The towns of Berrima and Moss Vale are within 10-15 minutes drive, and the outer lying areas of Burrawang and Robertson can be reached within 25 minutes drive. Why choose Black Cockatoo? The outdoor terrace and dining area is a great place to enjoy a long lunch with friends in a tranquil setting. An exceptional home where you can enjoy the company of friends and family! How is the property laid out? Black Cockatoo is a single level home, configured as follows: Enter the home through the front doors which lead onto the large lounge room. There is one bedroom wing to the left, with 3 bedrooms, one with ensuite, and a shared bathroom. Through the lounge room is another living room with TV and lounge - great for the kids! The kitchen features quality appliances as well as a butler’s pantry with wine fridge. The dining table is located next to the kitchen, with large windows capturing the northern sun. Leading off the kitchen area is a library, also with north facing windows, and a gas fireplace - an ideal place to relax and read a book. There is another bedroom area, featuring two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom is has a kitchenette and washing machine. There is also a dedicated work space and European style laundry with washing machine and dryer. WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it? Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. The property also has two smart TVs, one in the main lounge room and one in the family room. Please bring your own login details for streaming services. Please note however that neither Property Manager nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan. What about outdoors? Black Cockatoo is situated on an acre of land, with an architect designed garden featuring native trees and plants. The enormous, north facing, grassy backyard is north facing and sun-filled throughout the day. There is an outdoor entertaining deck with outdoor setting, which overlooks the backyard. And, a firepit to use at night. There are two BBQs, one timber and one gas. There is also a trampoline for the kids to enjoy! Note that the spa shown in photos is being removed and will not accessible to guests. Stay warm or keeping cool? Black Cockatoo has a modern Cheminees Philippe fireplace in the lounge room, a gas fireplace in the library. There is ducted heating, and radiators in some of the bedrooms. What about sheets, towels and other supplies? Black Cockatoo supplies luxury linen and bath towels. Parking for cars, etc? Black Cockatoo has a long driveway which can accommodate multiple cars. The garage is not accessible to guests. Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? Sorry, Black Cockatoo does not allow pets. Please contact us for pet friendly options. What are the minimum stay rules? - Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property - Easter: 4 nights - Long Weekends: 3 nights - All other times: 2 nights Are there any special Summer Season rules? Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays. Who will I be dealing with during my stay?
