- Watson, named after Fothergill Watson, the prominent Victorian architect who designed some of the city’s most stunning buildings
- Lovelace, named after computer pioneer Ada Lovelace, daughter of the poet Lord Byron.
- Booth, named after William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army
- Howitt, named after Thomas Cecil Howitt, the architect who designed Castle House
- Shepherd, named after famous suffragette Annie Shepherd
- Hawksley, named after Thomas Hawksley, an engineer who was responsible for designing the country’s first high-pressure water system with clean water at the turn of a tap.
Our stand-out kitchen certainly has the ’wow’ factor – you might not even be tempted to venture outside the front door during your stay.
Pull up a chair to watch your group’s nominated chef in action at the central island, which features both a gas and induction hob – and enjoy using all the kitchen gadgets you could wish for, including our top-of-the-range double oven, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge-freezer and a Tassimo coffee machine with separate pantry.
With full-length windows looking out across Nottingham and the sought-after residential area The Park, this welcoming kitchen space is light and airy and complemented by the striking colour palette. There’s a highchair for our little guests, and the space is cosy and warm thanks to the central heating.
And, with plenty of space to dance to your favorite tunes on our kitchen speakers, whether a hen or stag do, milestone birthday or bridal party, we’ve got you covered.
Walk through the double glass doors to enjoy your lazy brunch, afternoon tea or a gastronomic treat at the huge dining room table with plush and comfortable seating, the perfect glass and tableware – and your own private bar to mix those essential cocktails.
Cozy up and sink into the huge velvet sofas in the drawing room, where you can watch the large flat screen smart TV or simply admire the incredible original oak wood paneling throughout the room that we’re rightly proud of. The beautiful colors in the room bring out the beauty of the wood. The stunning furniture and lighting combine to make this a space to relax in and enjoy to the fullest.

The city's most iconic landmark is Nottingham Castle, perched high on a hill overlooking the city. Although the original medieval castle no longer stands, the site now hosts a museum and art gallery, showcasing the city's history and an impressive collection of fine art. The castle grounds offer panoramic views of the cityscape and are a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll.
Beneath the bustling streets of Nottingham lies a hidden world of caves. The City of Caves attraction allows visitors to explore this subterranean landscape, which includes ancient dwellings and air raid shelters, providing a unique glimpse into the city's underground history.
For those interested in the legend of Robin Hood, the Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve is a short journey away. Here, visitors can wander through ancient oak woodlands, including the Major Oak, said to be Robin Hood's hideout. The forest also hosts the annual Robin Hood Festival, celebrating the folklore hero with medieval reenactments and activities.
Nottingham's Lace Market is a testament to the city's industrial heritage, once the heart of the world's lace industry. The area's beautifully preserved Victorian buildings now house chic boutiques, trendy bars, and restaurants, making it a lively spot for shopping and dining.
