Small, historical resort, 40 km south-west from Olsztyn, 50 km south from Ostróda, 30 km north-west from Nidzica. In the resort: shops. More possibilities for shopping and entertainment 10 - 15 km. Village is mostly associated with the most famous battle in the history of Poland. In the place where the battle took place "Wzgorze Zwyciestwa" there is a complex of monuments - the memorial of Grunwald Victory (south-east from the memorial an artificial heap has been made). Nearby there is the Museum of Grunwald Battle (archeological sites with remainings of armours). The place is also one of the most beautiful areas of the Mazury region. The quiet and natural environment makes it an ideal place for relaxing holidays. Paradise for amateurs of fishing and mushrooms picking. Vast forest areas and nearby lakes are ideal for hiking, cycling and water sports. In Olsztyn possibility of visiting XIV-century gothic castle and wooden granary.
