ORCHIDEA BIANCA is a modern loft-style flooded-with-light apartment with several windows situated inside the walls of Lucca.
Very recently spruced-up to show it off to its best, the apartment has a laid-back and easy-going style, it is on the ground floor but split on two levels, it sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms and has WIFI, air conditioning and a very reliable Hi Speed WIFI connection.
It has a stylish open-plan main living area incorporating comfortable seating and a dining area. A well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools is connected to the living area. On the same floor there is an elegant master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the lower ground floor another master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a Saniflo System in use: flush only toilet paper to protect this dedicated system
Situated in an exclusive and sought after location within the walls of Lucca, this is the heart of Lucca fashion, galleries, antique shops, traditional market streets and restaurants. Visit markets, ancient churches, shops and clothing boutiques, antiques and art galleries, fabulous restaurants, elegant tea shops and cafés where in another century writers and philosophers met. The apartment is just a short walk from the unique Amphitheatre Square and literally a few steps away from Via Fillungo and Guinigi Tower as well as the Lu.c.c.A Centre of Contemporary Art. From this incredible neighbourhood you can walk to most Lucca sites, and if public transportation is your choice, there are many buses that come through the bus terminal just 1 block away.
Just around the corner from your apartment, on Via della Fratta, you will find a fabulous cheese shop, famous patisserie and bakery, a butcher, fresh fruit and vegetables, an artisan chocolate maker, wine merchant and delicatessen, as well as two small supermarkets, all within 5 minutes walk of your apartment.
Lucca Train Station, a 15 minute walk from the apartment, takes you to Viareggio, Florence, Pisa, Livorno, Pistoia and Montecatini as well as La Spezia and Cinque Terre.
