✨ Gorge Views From the Deck · Stevenson, WA ✨ 🏔️ The Columbia River Gorge out the back, town down the hill 🛏️ 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, sleeps 6 🍳 Full kitchen with island seating, stocked for real cooking 🌄 A deck that runs the width of the house 🧺 Washer and dryer, AC and heating 🚗 Free parking on site, Bridge of the Gods 3 miles away The house sits up on the hill above Stevenson, and the deck runs the full width of the back with the Gorge in front of you and mountains on both sides. Most evenings it puts on a show. Inside is one big shared space: vaulted ceilings, a living room you can see the view from, and glass doors that open onto the deck. The kitchen has island seating and a bench-seat dining nook, and it’s stocked for actual cooking rather than reheating. Three bedrooms sleep six. The primary has a queen and an ensuite with a walk-in shower. The second has a queen. The third has two twins, which works well for kids. There’s a second full bath with a tub, a crib if you’re travelling with a little one, and a washer and dryer downstairs for muddy-trail days. Outside there’s a fenced grassy backyard, and the driveway looks straight down the Gorge. The whole house is yours. No shared spaces. 🔑 Keyless entry with a smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule 🧺 Washer and dryer downstairs 📶 Wireless internet throughout 🌄 Deck across the back of the house, plus a fenced grassy backyard 🚗 The driveway holds two cars, snug, and a third can go on the street. The owners ask that the street not be used for parking after 10 PM. The garage is for gear and equipment storage, not parking. Everything is set up and ready. If anything comes up, we’re a quick message away. 🚗 Driving — The home is in Stevenson, Washington, in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, about 45 minutes east of Portland. From Portland, take I-84 E to Cascade Locks and cross the Bridge of the Gods to WA-14, or follow WA-14 E the whole way — then use live navigation to 461 NW Jefferson Ave, Stevenson, WA 98648. Free parking at the home. 🚶 Walking — Downtown Stevenson’s shops, restaurants, and the Columbia River waterfront are a short walk or quick drive away. 🥾 Exploring — A car is the best way to enjoy the Gorge — waterfalls, hikes, and viewpoints are all within a short drive. ✈️ Airport — Portland International Airport (PDX) is about 45 minutes by car. 🚗 Parking The driveway holds two cars and it’s a tight fit. A third can park on the street, though not after 10 PM. The garage is for gear storage, not parking. ❄️ Winter The driveway, the walkways and the area by the front door get slick and steep in cold weather. Take it slowly, and use the side entrance west of the garage when it’s icy. 🚪 The balcony doors Gorge wind can pull the French doors out of your hand and damage the door or the wall, so hold on firmly on the way in and out. 🧊 The fridge and freezer The doors don’t seal on their own. Give each one a deliberate push and check it caught. 🗑️ Trash Bins are in the alcove right of the garage door. Pickup is Tuesday at 6 AM, so set them out Monday night with the lids closed.
