The house has 2 parking spaces in the driveway. The Perfect Retreat! is within walking distance to The Oceanfront Boardwalk/Beach, Restaurants, Va Beach Conference Center, The NEW Sports Complex, and just a short drive to First Landing State, Ft Story (and the Cape Story Lighthouse), Va Marine Science Museum, shopping, botanical garden, and fishing. A king size canopy bed fills the rest of the vertical space. The room also features a full size couch and coffee table—a perfect place to get some work done or sit and relax by watching the 50 inch tv. If you would rather sit outside, there is a private porch that spans the length of the front of the house. 4 chairs and 2 bistro tables make it a great place to sit and have a drink and watch the boats and world go by. A Keurig is also available so you don’t even have to leave the room to get your morning coffee. High quality sheets and pillows and room darkening drapes will allow you to have a restful night’s sleep. A large walk-in closet with full length mirror, hangers, and luggage racks is just off the room. Finally, the master bedroom has its own large bathroom with a jetted tub under a capiz shell chandelier, shower, and separate toilet closet. The bathroom is equipped with basic toiletries, a hairdryer, towels, and his and hers slippers. The remaining three bedrooms are located at the back of the home. The Atlantic Avenue Shuttle (Route 30) leads to restaurants and oceanfront attractions, with service every 15 minutes, 8 a.m.-2 a.m. daily, May through September. The hot tub will be unavailable in winter 2024 due to construction. The hot tub is closed during the summer months.
