Welcome to Lake Haven, our cherished family home nestled in scenic Penhook, a place where family and friends gather and serenity meets. In our retirement, my husband and I decided to take on a massive renovation project. We wanted to create a place for our family and friends to have great times and make fun memories, but then we agreed that we should share it with others so they could enjoy it, too. With a lot of hard labor, long days and nights, and with help from our family and friends aged 2 to 72, we did it! It took two years, but what a labor of love - and well worth it. At Lake Haven, expect a warm and inviting space for all ages. Fall in love with being outside. Lake Haven is situated on a large, private flat lot, providing easy access to the lake and our newly constructed dock. The flat yard makes playing outside games fun and easy. Soak and relax in the hot tub, roast s’mores over the fire pit, take the kayaks out for a tour of the lake, or sunbathe on the lounge chairs on the upper deck. The dock is the cherry on top, with plenty of room to relax in the shade or watch the sun rise and set on the water. Take advantage of the coffee maker, blender, and fridge, and enjoy a cup of coffee or a cocktail. Jump off the floating dock or the water trampoline, or throw in your line to see what you catch. And bring your boat - Lumpkin Marina is less than a mile away for food and gas. Rainy day? No problem. Head inside, where you can get a view of the lake from every room.
