This truly open-concept floor plan showcases soaring ceilings, a sky-walk style balcony overlooking a huge living room with floor to ceiling decorative fireplace and so much more… The kitchen and dining areas are very large and will accommodate comfortable reunions with family and friends. We’ve even stocked it with all the cooking utensils and appliances you should need to rustle up a meal at home. Nestled off of the kitchen, you’ll find a quaint and cozy reading room with comfy couches and wonderful views of mother nature from the floor to ceiling windows. There is also a full laundry room if you find yourself staying for an extended period of time with us and need to wash some clothes, towels and sheets etc! If playing games is an essential element of your travels, then enjoy the games table and arcade machine located in the upstairs loft area, but it certainly doesn’t stop there, keep reading and you’ll learn all about our ‘hang-out barn’… So one of the true highlights of this home is its spacious outdoor areas. The bunk room is also located on the main level and features 2 sets of twin bunks (This is an ideal sleeping room for kids in your group and can sleep up to 4 people) Bedroom #2 is located upstairs and contains a queen sized bed. (This room can sleep up to 2 people) Bedroom #3 is located upstairs and contains a queen sized bed and an additional twin day bed with twin trundle underneath (This room can sleep up to 4 people) Bedroom #4 is located upstairs and contains a twin bunk bed and an additional twin day bed with twin trundle underneath (This room can sleep up to 4 people) All of our bunk beds throughout the house are rated for 200lbs per bed. 1 housekeeping rule that we would like to share with all prospective guests is that we are located to the rear of a community of 4 homes all individually on 5-7 acre lots spaced nicely apart, however the home is accessed by a shared driveway and we ask that for the safety and solitude of the neighboring families to always drive slowly and respectfully when approaching the property, refrain from playing loud music on the exterior of the home at all times and always respect the traditional quiet hours of 10pm-8am that most vacation rentals adhere to. With 15 beds it’s perfect for the whole family! Professionally designed & able to accommodate up to 16 people. We’ve found that it helps to describe the house layout and bed set up, so here’s what to expect: On the main level of the dwelling you will find a fully equipped kitchen, ready for you to prepare family meals at home. The living room and dining area is adjacent to the kitchen. The dining table comfortably seats 10 people. Also located on the main level is a laundry room, access to the rear deck with hot tub area, along with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Bedroom #1 has a king size bed and an additional twin roll-away bed stored in the walk-in closet. Finally, there is a converted 1 car garage in the basement that is now a play room, with a ping pong table, wall-mounted guitar, corn hole boards and high top seating. We are a 23 mile drive from Broadway which is mostly interstate miles so will take less than half an hour. Hendersonville amenities and Old Hickory Lake access is within 10 minutes from the house. The exterior of the cabin is monitored by security cameras. If any guests are found to have been walking on the roof, the security deposit will be forfeited. Yes, it happens! This is for your safety. Note: The driveway is long and steep. Tennessee weather can be unpredictable. While rare, during snow & ice it has the potential to become impassable. We recommend parking at the end of the driveway to avoid any hazardous situations.

Welcome to Sunset Cabin, one of our favorite places to relax! This incredible home sits on the crest of a hill overlooking lush countryside in all directions. Located just 30 mins North of downtown Nashville & convenient to parks, golf courses, Old Hickory lake & more. The rustic interior & classic wrap-around porch exterior make you want to cuddle up with a cup of hot chocolate or sip a glass of wine while gazing out at the sunset or countless wildlife visitors. Best enjoyed together! The home is very open and welcoming. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining and living areas so family can gather and interact together in an intimate setting. We have 2 dining tables which comfortably seat 12. The kitchen is completely stocked with all utensils, cutlery and appliances to accommodate you settling in for family meals. We also have a gas grill on the porch for you to whip up some steaks in the evening! The living room has plenty of seating and the main couch doubles as a sleeper sofa at night if you need the additional sleeping space. It has a queen mattress within. We always like to explain the sleeping arrangements in our descriptions to best help you plan your visit, so this is the bed set up for the home: Bedroom #1 - King bed with en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and wall-mounted TV. The outdoor fire pit area and wrap-around porch are definitely our favorite spots and we are blessed to be able to watch the Sunset disappear over the surrounding hills in the evenings. Bedroom #3 features a queen bed and can sleep up to 2 guests. It also has a flat screen TV mounted to the wall. There is a 2nd full bathroom located in the corridor outside of bedrooms 2 & 3. The garage is utilized as a recreation room and features a slate bed pool table, a bar top with multiple bar stools (added after professional pictures were taken), a flat screen TV mounted to the wall, a full size fridge/freezer and it also contains some yard games such as corn hole boards and soccer balls that can be taken outside to play with. The laundry room includes a washer & dryer along with detergent and dryer sheets for your convenience. The back yard is fenced in and a great place to throw/kick a ball around or challenge your friends to a game of corn hole. It also has a lovely fire-pit area with 4 Adirondack chairs, just perfect for roasting smores under the stars! The rear deck has 3 access points from the house and has several places to sit and enjoy the Tennessee outdoors. Additionally it has an outdoor dining table that can seat 8, a section that is covered and illuminated incase the weather isn’t cooperating and an outdoor gas grill for whipping up some steaks! There is a neighbor to the right hand side of the property that is separated by just a fence and some trees, so we do ask that we respect those who live around us by not playing loud or offensive music outside and maintain quiet hours between 9pm and 8am on a daily basis. Despite Nashville and all it has to offer being just 20-25 mins from the property, we are also blessed with having a lot of attractions immediately on our doorstep in Hendersonville. The close proximity to countless City Parks, State Parks, Golf Courses and Old Hickory Lake for recreational boating and fishing is incredible. There are over 60 restaurants & bars along with all sorts of stores you could possibly need. Here’s just a small sampling of the stores and restaurants that are less than 5 mins from the property for you to enjoy and with a 10 minute drive, you have many, many more! The home is tucked away in the trees and is accessed by a relatively steep driveway. We always recommend that guests obtain travel insurance while traveling, but that is especially true if you are booking to stay with us in the winter incase conditions could impact you accessing the area and this home. Aptly named ‘Mountain Music’ as it features simply stunning panoramic vistas of the Nashville countryside and is quite frankly the perfect place for a get-away or retreat to write music, enjoy family bonding, marvel in God’s nature and yet commute in and out of Nashville in 30 minutes! Equipped with a guitar and ukele (please treat with care), incredible kitchen renovation, expansive back deck with grill, fire pit and hot tub (new in 2024) overlooking the valley, 2 hammocks to attach to the trees out back and a front porch to sit and stare at quite amazing sunsets… This 3 bedroom home features 1 king bed and 2 queen beds along with 2 full bathrooms. Luxury sheets, comforters, pillows & towels are provided. There are additionally 2 full size sleeper sofas in the living room that comfortably sleep 2 additional guests (supplementary bedding and pillows are provided). If you are planning a lengthy stay, we have a washer and dryer to take care of your laundry needs. In 2024 we replaced all of the flooring to elevate the feel of the property even further. With this being an elevated property that sits right at the top of a hill, please be aware that there is a steep gravel driveway. Winters in Nashville are generally mild, but on a rare occasion we get snow and ice and there is always a possibility you may feel more comfortable parking at the bottom of the driveway and walking up if the ice is severe. That being said, as it is a gravel driveway, there is usually no need for this (mentioned purely for practical purposes and to recommend purchasing travel insurance incase of inclement weather). The fire pit is in the center of a newly poured circular concrete area with Adirondack seating around it. We have some additional seats stored in the lower storage shed should you need it. We supply firewood for each group and Home Depot and Lowes both sell pre-bundled packs and are nearby if you need additional. Please don’t overload the fire as summers can be hot and dry. This is a no-smoking property. Please refrain from smoking in the home otherwise your security deposit will be immediately forfeited. The TV comes with an Xfinity channel package including several sports channels such as ESPN and NBCSN etc. Wireless internet is also available at no charge. After a long day exploring Nashville, Old Hickory Lake or the countless parks in the surrounding area, let your muscles relax as you soak in the 6 person hot tub on our covered veranda. When you aren’t taking in the great outdoors, you’ll have plenty to do indoors too! The entire home was renovated in 2024 with hosting guests at the forefront of the design. In addition to having everything you need to prepare family meals, the kitchen features a stunning Island that seats 7 so you can chat while you prep! There’s a large pantry, dishwasher, microwave drawer, double oven, side-by-side fridge, induction cook-top, coffee maker and more… And when I say more, there’s an entire other full kitchen in the basement too! The whole main level is one large open, soaring space where you can see from one side of the house to the other with an abundance of natural light throughout. There are two main dining areas in addition to the kitchen Island. Both formal dining tables are exquisite pieces with 8 lush chairs around each. The living room features 3 white leather couches, so please treat them with love and care (no shoes) for both your enjoyment and that of our future guests. There is a dedicated work desk adjacent to the living room furnishings that can be elevated or lowered for your convenience. While some of your group relax around the TV, others can enjoy a game of pool on our rustic slate bed table which has another large mounted TV and live edge bar top to rest your drinks or charge your phones at. If you have a musician or two in the family, then feel free to utilize the Guitar mounted on the wall to sing or write songs together. After all, that’s what Nashville is all about! There are 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious laundry room also located on the main level. The master suite is found at one end of the home and features a King Bed, a twin size day bed and twin trundle beneath (sleeps up to 4 in this room). It is an enormous room with accent walls, custom chandelier and trey ceiling. The master bathroom has double vanities, a walk-in-shower and a free-standing soaking tub. The master closet is custom designed and very spacious. Bedroom #2 features a king bed, delightful barn wood accent wall, mounted TV and double closet. (Sleeps up to 2 people). Bedroom #3 features 2 queen beds, mounted TV and double closet. (Sleeps up to 4 people). Bedroom #2 & #3 are located adjacent to a guest bathroom with double vanities and a separated toilet and tub/shower area. The laundry features large washer and drying machines, an undermounted sink, built-in ironing board, coat closet, custom bag drop with shoe storage area and even a steamer. So now let’s explore the basement… At the bottom of the staircase you will open the door into our den. This room features a spacious sectional couch with stunning tree trunk coffee table and end tables orientated around the fireplace and flat screen TV. It is also the perfect spot for the kids (or big kids) to hang out and enjoy some great entertainment. We have multiple arcade machines, including our dueling Pac Man wall where you can try to get your name on the leaderboard with a new high score! When it’s time for bed or simply an afternoon nap, you can enjoy our 4 custom bunk beds, with reading lights and curtains to make them feel like a true hide-out! (Sleeps up to 4). Step out into the garage area and you will see our custom flake floor, find a ping pong table ready for hours of fun or even grab the corn hole boards to take outside for some great times. On the basement level we have another full size kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a bar top to eat at and an exterior door leading to an amazing back patio with sectional couches to sit enjoy a morning cup of coffee, an evening glass of wine/beer, or simply read a good book while listening to the great outdoors. Take a few steps from this patio along the back of the home and you’ll arrive at our covered hot-tub area. The hot tub is surrounded by evening fairy lights, can seat up to 6 people and is accessed both from the basement level or from an iron staircase leading down from the sun room above. Back indoors and to round out the basement we have an additional King bedroom suite, featuring a full bathroom with lush walk-in shower. (Sleeps up to 2) A bunk room with 2 twin bunk beds plus additional twin trundles underneath and a large closet (sleeps up to 6). Just outside the bunk room is our full guest bathroom with tub/shower combo. And our final feature of the basement is the movie theater. With 3 rows of leather recliners and an 85” flat screen TV, it is the perfect spot to snuggle up with a blanket and watch some movies together! With a house set up like this, you’d expect to be tucked away in the mountains miles away from civilization, but this isn’t the case for our gated retreat. In fact, you are less than 10 minutes from most amenities you can think of, such as bars, restaurants, lake access and more. In fact there is a Publix just 5 mins down the rd for all your grocery needs. Other areas of interest in Hendersonville, just North of Nashville include multiple local and state parks, several exquisite wedding venues along Long Hollow Pike, an abundance of golf courses and last but not least, Old Hickory Lake which has multiple marinas where you can rent boats, go fishing or even take trips on Tiki Bar Cruisers! Of course, most of the water-front restaurants feature live music throughout the peak season too! Please note that this property is located at the end of a long driveway up a hill and there is a chance in the winter time that the concrete driveway could become icy and NOT accessible to drive on. This happens very rarely in Nashville, but in the most recent years there has tended to be around 3-7 days in the winter that such conditions have occurred. It is a long gated driveway and it is not salted. Please plan accordingly if you book to stay with us during this season by taking extra precautions and purchasing travel insurance. Middle Tennessee does not handle cold and Ice particularly well and most roads around Nashville during such winter storms are largely un-navigable.
