The house has fast Wifi, a 55” Smart TV, a well stocked kitchen, and three comfy queen size bedrooms. There is off street parking in the driveway, keyless entry, and a large yard with patio furniture on the back deck. We have carefully curated this space from scratch with YOU in mind, so you will have everything you need and more during your stay. Living Room: Relax on the extra large comfy sofa (queen pull-out sofa bed) while streaming your favorite shows on the 55" Smart TV over fast Wi-Fi. Enjoy the views of the quiet neighborhood through the large living room windows. There is a ceiling fan and the entire house has central heat and AC so you may easily stay comfortable all year round. The fireplace is non-functional and for aesthetics only. Dining Room: The separate dining room is directly off of the kitchen & living room and is perfect for your family meals. There is a beautiful wood dining table with 6 dining chairs and glass French doors that lead out to the back patio. Kitchen: The kitchen has an electric range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and sink with garbage disposal. There is a vintage rattan and glass table with two chairs in the kitchen so that you may enjoy a glass of wine with friends while preparing a meal. There is a standard drip coffee maker and we provide coffee, powdered creamer, sugar and artificial sweetener. Bedrooms: Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and have been carefully furnished and curated to be calm and inviting. Each features a super comfy memory foam medium density mattresses with high quality hotel grade bedding and pillows. The primary bedroom and guest room both have desks so that you may work privately during your stay. Each room also has blinds, ceiling fans, side tables with lamps, charging stations, white noise machines, and closets with hangers. Kiddos: A pack n play & high chair are available by request in advance on a first come first served basis. Bathrooms: Both the primary & guest bathroom feature a full bathtub and shower. We provide fresh towels, wash clothes, hand towels, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Laundry: The washer and dryer are located in a closet inside of the half bath and we provide a few laundry pods to get you started. There is also an iron and ironing board as well. Outdoors: There is a sloped driveway to the left of the house that will fit 3 vehicles. There is also free street parking in the front of the home. The driveway is on a slope so you may need to angle in and out with your vehicle depending on the model. The back deck has plenty of seating for the whole group and is perfect for entertaining. We put a lot of thought into furnishing this home and had families in mind with each detail. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third has a twin bunk + a twin trundle. The house is done in a self-proclaimed ’coastal lakehouse modern style’ with loads of cozy furnishings, upholstery, pillows, linens, and a mix of natural textiles - think wicker, rattan, wood and glass. Various warm grays, soft neutrals and hues of blue give this house a homey feel the moment you enter. There are various options for outdoor seating and entertaining as well, including a charcoal grill, reclaimed wood Adirondack style chairs at the outdoor lakeside firepit, an outdoor sectional with cushions and pillows on the patio with two oversized lounge chairs, and a reclaimed wood outdoor picnic table made by a local artisan. Don’t forget the Pirate Ship themed playground for the children or young at heart! The large paved driveway has plenty of parking for cars, trucks, campers or boat trailers. A public boat launch is located about 10 minutes away at the Hilton Recreation Area (Maps). The depth at the dock is only a few feet deep, so pontoons or smaller boats are best for dock parking. If you are traveling between October and April the water depth will be 8’ less due to seasonal lowering of Lake Murray water levels controlled by Dominion Energy (formerly SCE&G). This is the downstairs apartment of a historic duplex that was built in 1930 and completely renovated in 2020. The building is on a busy urban street so expect to hear some road noise inside of the apartment. The entire space has been completely redone and decorated in a splash of gem tones throughout. Comfy velvet upholstery, vibrant art work, glamorous black and brass light fixtures, and colorful vintage glass accessories give the guests of the Gem of Bull Street an extra pep in their step! The house is on a busy street and guests should expect to hear road noise, especially in the living room of the apartment. We do provide a sound machine and ear plugs for light sleepers. The living area has comfortable furnishings, a 55” Roku TV (no cable), a dedicated work space, and a covered porch facing the BullStreet District. The king size bedroom has a plush upholstered velvet bed frame, bedside tables, lamps, charging stations and a large closet for clothes and storage. The bathroom has been completely renovated and has brand new floor and wall tile, a stand-up shower, and the original vintage privacy glass bathroom window.
