This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow home in the Rosewood Neighborhood of Columbia. The open concept living, dining and kitchen has plenty of seating for your family and friends. The guest bathroom is spacious and shared by the two queen guest bedrooms. There is a laundry room and a spacious king size main bedroom suite at the rear of the house complete with a walk-in closet, large bath with an equally large shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room. The main bedroom also has a Roku TV This house was recently renovated and added onto and is a very large feeling 1,700 square feet. Classic comfortable furniture and decor fill the home with a hint of USC Gamecock pride and good old fashioned southern charm. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the front covered porch overlooking the quiet neighborhood with parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway and free parking on the street. The living, dining, and kitchen are open concept with an internet enabled RokuTV (no cable), seating for 6 at the dining table and an additional 4 at the kitchen peninsula. The brand new kitchen is packed with supplies, making a homemade meal is no problem here. The guest bathroom is split with a sink and linen closet in the first space and the toilet and shower in the next (there is no tub in the house). There are two queen size bedrooms, one is slightly larger than the next but each have spacious closets and new bedding. The hallway leading to the rear of the house has a laundry room with mini fridge, iron and ironing board along with laundry supplies and the hot water heater. The remainder of the home is dedicated to the king size main bedroom suite. The bedroom is large and airy with four windows, a navy upholstered king bed, bedside tables, lamps, dressers, and a 43" RokuTV (no cable). There is a large walk-in closet, separate linen closet, and a spacious private main bathroom with a large shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room. A door off of the hallway leads to the fenced-in back yard where you will find an outdoor table with seating for 4 and a propane BBQ grill. The yard is a work in progress and future updates are planned. The shed in the yard is not for guest use. I am available by Airbnb app, text or phone during your stay. My husband David and I live nearby as well. The house is close to the University of South Carolina and Williams-Brice Stadium. This home is so close to Ft Jackson you can hear the daily bugle calls! Recently renovated from top to bottom, the house has an expanded open concept living area + a den and dining area three steps down from the main level and entry. Three queen bedrooms and two bathrooms including a private main suite & bath round out the sleeping areas. The back yard is shady and has a patio with outdoor dining and seating furniture. Stores, groceries and dining are also nearby, and Ft Jackson too of course! This home is a 1960s style ranch that has been renovation from top to bottom in early 2021. The interior design style is what we like to call ’Casual Modern American’ with a blend of red, white, and blue textiles, artwork and accessories mixed in with some rustic touches and antique finds. The house boasts all new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, an expanded open concept kitchen and living area with beautiful granite counters, breakfast bar, and tons of white shaker style cabinetry. A full-size stacked washer and dryer are in the closet off of the kitchen and a family room and dining area are three steps down from the main level with plenty of comfy seating and an additional Roku TV + board games. There is a queen size main bedroom with closet, dresser, bedside tables and a private bathroom with stand-up shower, all completely brand new and stylish. The hall bathroom is also brand new and has a tub/shower combo and clean modern style. The second queen size bedroom is spacious with a dresser, closet, bedside tables and room darkening shades. The third bedroom is on the smaller side with a queen size bed, nightstand, closet and luggage rack. There is also a newly added queen sized sofa bed in the living room. The door off of the kitchen leads to the back yard and patio where there is a 4-person dining table with umbrella and outdoor lounge seating. The yard is fairly shady so there is not a lot of grass just yet (we are working on it). Please take care not to track mud into the house if using the yard. All of the spaces listed. The fireplace is not to be used under any circumstance during your stay. We live nearby and are accessible via the app, phone or text during your stay. The house is approximately 1.1 miles from Fort Jackson (4 minute drive to the Visitor’s Center) and is near the intersection of Percival Road and Forest Drive where there is an abundance of stores, businesses, and dining options. I-77 is also nearby, making getting to and from the house convenient regardless of where you are going in the area. This is an older established neighborhood near the army base and perfect for visitors, family, and friends of cadets or other affiliations to Fort Jackson. The house is off of Percival Road and Forest Drive and the neighboring homes and businesses leading up to this particular street may be perceived as run-down or needing maintenance and repairs. However, the neighborhood is safe and occupied by working class families. If you prefer shiny, pretty, and new buildings, sidewalks, and storefronts, this is not the area for you. Car is the dominant mode of transportation in Columbia. There is a Comet bus line that runs nearby but Uber and Lyft are popular here if you will be traveling without a vehicle.

This is the downstairs apartment of a historic duplex that was built in 1930 and completely renovated in 2020. The building is on a busy urban street so expect to hear some road noise inside of the apartment. The entire space has been completely redone and decorated in a splash of gem tones throughout. Comfy velvet upholstery, vibrant art work, glamorous black and brass light fixtures, and colorful vintage glass accessories give the guests of the Gem of Bull Street an extra pep in their step! The house is on a busy street and guests should expect to hear road noise, especially in the living room of the apartment. We do provide a sound machine and ear plugs for light sleepers. The living area has comfortable furnishings, a 55” Roku TV (no cable), a dedicated work space, and a covered porch facing the BullStreet District. The king size bedroom has a plush upholstered velvet bed frame, bedside tables, lamps, charging stations and a large closet for clothes and storage. The bathroom has been completely renovated and has brand new floor and wall tile, a stand-up shower, and the original vintage privacy glass bathroom window. The spacious eat-in kitchen has brand new granite counters, gray shaker cabinets and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and electric range. A washer and dryer is located in the kitchen and a back door leads to the shared back entry. There is a large closet off of the living room for extra storage with a rolling barn door too. We live nearby and are accessible by the Airbnb app, phone or text during your stay. This building is on a busy urban street. We love this hood so much that we also call it home and live a few blocks away. Our personal favorites are, well, everything! Make sure to stop in at The Cottontown Brew Lab for one of their many specialty craft beers or swing into Indah Coffee for a cup of their specialty roasted cafes.
