The Grande Butte Lodge Hocking Hills has a loyal following of families – not only for its size, but also for the setting and the scale of its gathering areas. It feels like home. LIVING SPACES Enter the vaulted-ceiling, main-floor gathering area – with a kitchen that features a serpentine granite island that seats 10 and a commercial freezer and refrigerator (in addition to a standard size unit with ice and water). A separate wet-bar area with lots of storage. Leather sofas surround the gas fireplace and satellite tv. Log-style furniture, plaid pillows and antler accents, support the lodge theme. The harvest table and additional seating face a wall of windows, with a door to the porch that overlooks the pool and the countryside. The lower level gathering area centers on the stone, woodburning fireplace and another satellite tv. Billiard table and four-top game tables complete the space. The lower level opens to the pool.
