The Fireside Lodge – Hocking Hills is a guest favorite, set in a private wood at the Chalets Old Man’s Cave location. The lodge sleeps up to 18 people in 6 bedrooms over 3 levels, with 3.5 baths. The 10-person hot-tub and fire pit are there for you year-‘round and the private pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Two gathering areas offer separate big screen tvs and cozy seasonal gas fireplaces. The lower level gathering space is a game room – with a billiards table and arcade game. Light floods the great room through wrap-around windows offering views and access to the decks. Open concept living, dining and kitchen areas. Alfresco dining and comfortable seating on the deck and pool-side. Like all Chalets, this kitchen is well stocked with cooking and table ware. All bed, bath and kitchen linens are included. Two full-sized refrigerators, a washer and drier and high-speed internet, help to make the stay comfortable. This beautiful Chalet is nestled into the side of a private hill – with a scenic seasonal pool, decks in all directions accessible from all three levels and a patio big enough for the whole clan. The bright vaulted great room offers a sweeping Hocking Hills view and seating for everyone – in front of the large screen tv, by the seasonal gas fireplace, around the game table or out on the deck. A second gathering space in the lower level has another large tv, foosball table and arcade game table – making it popular with the kids and the adult kids. The big patio off the kitchen is the outdoor heart of the property, with the covered hot tub all overlooking your private seasonal swimming pool and fire pit, with lots of seating and gas and charcoal grills. And big wire bins - to store your group’s snacks and supplies within view. Charcoal and gas grills. Full bath. The hot tub is tucked away behind the chalet – away from the crowd but still with great views. The main attraction? The company of your friends or family. BEDROOMS and BATHS Ground floor has one king bedroom and the bunk room with two sets of full bunks – which sleeps eight. The bunk room is spacious and has a tv and an old-school arcade game console and bean bags, so it often doubles as a secondary gathering space for the kids. Attached full bath with double vanity. Upstairs three bedrooms have dormer windows that look out to the pool and views. One king-sized bedroom, one queen bedroom, and one bedroom with one queen and two twin beds. The harvest table and additional seating face a wall of windows, with a door to the porch that overlooks the pool and the countryside. The lower level gathering area centers on the stone, woodburning fireplace and another satellite tv. Billiard table and four-top game tables complete the space. The lower level opens to the pool. Outdoors – two porches offer comfortable seating and views of the pool and the forested hills beyond. The pool deck has picnic tables, lounge chairs (in season), and a covered 6-person hot tub. A fire pit with built-in seating sits at the far side of the pool. (Consider having wood delivered by the Chalets’ front desk.) Gas grill is located off the kitchen.
