Knotty Pine is our river front mountain cabin. Enjoy beautiful river views in a quiet natural setting where you can enjoy activities in the slow-moving water, watch the wildlife from the private outdoor fireplace and hot tub. About 5 minute drive to Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 minutes to downtown West Jefferson for shopping and dining. Great hiking trails abound. Main level of house is on same elevation as driveway. Master bedroom is one level down and is accessible from inside or outside. Outdoor fireplace and hot tub are on separate deck close to the river. The entire downstairs is the master suite and bathroom. Although the main level offers easy access on arrival there are a lot of stairs to access the river, hot tub, backyard and master bedroom. The interior stairwell to the master bedroom is narrow and has low overhead clearance at the bottom of the stairs. You should not plan on using this space if your mobility is limited. Additional Notes: - Please note that the distances shown on VRBO’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals.
