Lake Michigan is still beautiful, but because of storms and rising waters, the size of our beach is constantly changing. The beach may be narrow, but there is still room to sit! We do ask that you please not walk, climb or jump off the dunes however, and use extra care on the recently repaired beach stairs. And we no longer allow beach fires or fireworks. In 2020, we gratefully request that you adhere to CDC, State of Michigan, Berrien County and Chikaming Township Covid-19 guidelines. Please keep a six-foot distance between your group and anyone else on the beach, walks and shopping. Wear a mask when walking, shopping or picking up take-out in town. Please try to purchase all you will need from your home grocery store; if you need to shop locally, try to get everything you need for your stay on one trip. If you bring music on your iPod or phone you can connect to the integrated sound system that plays upstairs and downstairs in your vacation treehouse. You will find movies on hand for the kids or books to read for any age. In addition to the upstairs living space, there is a family room and many games, books, toys and puzzles. Once on the main floor, no further stairs exist to reach the master bedroom, adjacent bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room and deck. The additional bedrooms, second bathroom, family room, screen porch and laundry room are downstairs. Beach/Swimming: Private swimming beach is just a one-block walk from the house!
