When you arrive, the front door leads you up a staircase which opens into a large living area, welcoming friends and family. As you walk into the main living area you will find plenty of places to lounge! The home has an open floor plan with a shabby chic feel, oversized sofas and calming colors. One of the sofas is a sleeper sofa, great for small kids. The fireplace is for decorative purposes only. The room is large and shares space with the dining area that has seating for up to 6 and counter seating space for 3. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook your favorite meal. It features stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. Right outside the dining area, large French doors open to a covered wrap around porch. You will find this is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun rises over the ocean in the mornings, take an afternoon nap, and end the day with a glass of wine. Down the hall, are two additional bedrooms. Each room has a king bed, their own televisions, and doors that lead to the wrap around porch. The 4th bedroom is perfect for kids, with three sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds, bean bag chairs, and a TV. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a full bathroom which has a shower/tub combination. There is also a half bath in the garage, which comes in handy if you are coming in from the beach. The outside of the house is just as inviting! On the lower level deck, you’ll find plenty of seating facing the ocean. In the afternoon, as the sun finds its way to the west side of the house, the back deck becomes shaded. POOL & HOT TUB RULES ●Use at Your Own Risk: By using the hot tub and/or pool, guests acknowledge and agree that they are using these amenities at their own risk. ●Supervision: For safety reasons, children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times while using the hot tub or pool. ●Health & Safety: Guests should not use the hot tub or pool if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Please shower before entering the hot tub or pool to maintain cleanliness. ●Cleanliness: Please ensure that no oils, lotions, or soaps are brought into the hot tub or pool. This helps maintain the quality of the water for all guests. ●Proper Use: For your safety, please follow all posted guidelines and do not engage in risky behavior in the pool or hot tub (e.g., diving, rough play). ●Damage: Any damage to the pool or hot tub caused by misuse will be charged to the guest. ●Pool Heater & Hot Tub Disclaimer: If you would like to use the pool heater, please request it at least 24 hours in advance to allow proper arrangements. There is an additional charge of $100 per day for heating the pool. Once amenity is paid for, a pin will be provided for a tablet to control the hot tub. Abuse of the system will result in fees. We appreciate your attention to this and handling our hot tub with care. Turtle’s Nest is a 3 bedroom (plus bonus room with sleeping for 4), 3 bath beach house. Located in the oceanfront community of South Ponte Vedra Beach, between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, it is situated in a private area of single family homes (no high rises or high traffic here!)! It is serene and quiet, yet the house is just 7 miles from historic St. Augustine and 15 miles from Ponte Vedra. The open living room, dining area, and kitchen floor plan provides a wonderful space for the family to gather, cook, and eat, all with views of the Atlantic. The dining table seats 8 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen bar. There is plenty of space to sprawl out in the living room to socialize or watch your favorite movie. The newly renovated kitchen is fully stocked to please even the pickiest chef. Granite counter tops and a beautiful tile back splash add warmth to the space. Don’t forget to stock up on food and beverages for your vacation. There is a back up refrigerator in the garage for your extra groceries. Downstairs is a huge bonus room. Challenge your housemates to a game of billiards on the fully equipped pool table. There are plenty of books, games, and puzzles for those lazy ‘indoor’ days. There is a sitting area with two sofas, coffee table and a TV. The kids will enjoy the sleeping area with two twin-over-twin bunk beds. Wireless internet is available throughout the house. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed. • This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host. • This home is pet-friendly.
