If you dig holes in the sand, please fill in the holes so baby turtles just hatched, don’t get trapped in the holes. The ’dry sand dunes’ are off limits. It’s considered private property. The sea oats and sand dunes act as a wall to help protect property from storm surges. The dunes are also part of the coastal ecosystem that hosts a wide range of animals. From shoreline birds, beach-nesting birds, sea turtles and dune mice. The survival of these animals is by protecting the sea oats and sand dunes which are very fragile and cannot survive being trampled on. FAQS: If we are flying in, do you offer an airport shuttle?
