A charming, yet narrow spiral staircase adds to the cottage’s cozy charm, but it’s not the easiest to navigate for everyone. (You can avoid it by going out the front door and around to the lower level—just keep in mind that means stepping outside.) The lower level, accessed by a narrow spiral staircase, features a quaint seating area, laundry, and an additional bedroom with a walk-out patio. This peaceful lakeside escape offers stunning views and a tranquil setting, but please be aware that access requires a bit of a workout. There is a 66-step descent (and climb back up) between the parking area and the house. From the house to the yard, there are approximately 50 additional steps. To access the dock, you’ll go down another 22+ steps from the yard. That’s over 130 steps in total, not including any moving around the property. This home is best suited for guests who are comfortable with stairs and do not have mobility limitations. If you’re up for it, the views and lake access are worth it!
