Pool heating is usually not needed from May through September. ► May through September - $150/night if needed ► October & April - $200/night ► November through March - $250/night *No fee to heat the hot tub!* -Pool Heating- Only one of the pool or hot tub can heat at once. If you wish to use the hot tub while the pool is heating, just note that the pool heating will turn off while the hot tub heats. Once the hot tub is turned back off, the pool heating will resume. -Hot Tub Heating- Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced Tuesday and Friday, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician’s busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Dogs- Looking Glass welcomes your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 adults and 2 kids. Bedroom 1 has a king bed with attached bath, bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a desk area, bedroom 3 has two twin beds. The third room also has a fun chalkboard wall for you kids creative minds! Make the most of your relaxing desert getaway with our outdoor amenities including a hot tub, a stargazing platform, kids’ area and a grill with outdoor dining area. During the summer months, enjoy our cowboy tub for a quick cool off! (Cowboy tub NOT heated) • OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Professionally managed by Property Manager • RENTAL AGREEMENT There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation • YARD This properties back yard is not fully fenced. • POOL The pool is a cowboy tub, not a full size pool. They are used for sitting and soaking in water. It is not operable during the winter months and is only available April - October, it is cold-water-only. • PETS We allow well behaved dogs under 25lbs, no more than 2 at a time without hosts permission and added pet fee. Please see the house rules for the full details. The yard is NOT fully fenced. • A/C AND HEAT The house has central AC and heat so you can be comfortable all year around. • KITCHEN Do not cut directly on the counter tops. Please use a cutting board. The fridge is a mini fridge, for stays over 2 night we will give access to the garage with an additional full fridge. • KIDS ROOM WITH BUNKED AND TRUNDLE Please be mindful of your children sleeping on the top bunk. By booking this home you are releasing the homeowner and management from liability for any accidents or injury. There are 3 single beds in this room; 2 bunk beds and 1 bed that pulls out from under the bunk bed • FIRE Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane fire pit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine. • FRIDGE There is a full size fridge available in the garage and a mini fridge in the kitchen • WASHER/DRYER House has a washer and dryer available to guests that are staying with us for an extended period of 3 or more days. If you are traveling with an infant or young children please let us know and we will give you access to the laundry room. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. • IDENTITY VERIFICATION You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash- encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used. By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the terms listed above. If you’d like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It typically takes approximately 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool & Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced every Monday and Thursday, generally between 9am and 4pm. Service times may vary slightly depending on the technician’s schedule. The technician will access only the backyard service areas and will not enter the home. Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after service, as chemical levels may be temporarily elevated. -Pet Policy- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog, per stay fee with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed. Please note your dogs on the reservation and we will adjust pricing accordingly. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group.
