Great surf, sunshine, picturesque coastline, white sand beaches, tennis, fine dining, horse racing, and world class golf -Del Mar will keep all your friends/family fully entertained. Although you are only a short drive to many of the great shops and restaurants in downtown Del Mar, getting around by car to the rest of San Diego is a breeze. It’s less than a mile to the freeway. There is also the Coaster - San Diego’s coastal train, which has a stop about five miles away. Take the family downtown for the day on the Coaster to spend the day at Petco Park watching the Padres or exploring Seaport Village. ► This is the main house of the property. There is a separate unit on the north side of the property which may be occupied. There are no shared spaces or access. Encinitas thrives year-round and it’s not unusual to find people sunbathing on the beach in January. Parking at the property includes private driveway (2 cars) and ample street parking in this quiet, residential neighborhood. There is not mass transportation within walking distance of the home. A personal vehicle is recommended. The Moonlight Beach is just a 5min drive and Legoland is 20min away. San Diego Botanic Garden is very close too, 4 min drive. The quiet and family orientated neighborhood makes your stay safe. Our home is enclosed with fences for your kids. Our streets are well lit for evening walks. We are not pet friendly as of July 2015. If that should change we will notify this listing website. We also will ask that trash be taken to the curb on Sunday evening and brought back Monday mid day. It is a pay it forward sequence as we will ask the guests following you to do the same. Thank you for understanding. We also request that shoes not be worn in the home. High heels especially can leave marks. Our hope is this is respected so that damage issues are not a problem at check out.
