OTHER ITEMS: The property is equipped with a specific quantity of bath and pool towels to accommodate the max occupancy of the home. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. There are also fully equipped laundry rooms with washer, dryer. COMMUNITY ACCESS: You will have access to the community pool and hot tub located a short 12 homes from our unit. Explore Monterey Country club with our included golf cart! Less than 15 minutes form I-10, you can quickly head to Palm Springs, nearby casinos and other Coachella Valley destinations. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation. There is no extra fee for early check in, or, late check out (If we can accommodate your request, we most certainly will!) WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY? Our homes are keyless entry, we issue a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation. DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE? Cleaning is performed at the end of your stay. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee. IS THE COMMUNITY POOL HEATED? Yes, during the winter the pool is kept around 84 degrees and the hot tub is pre set to 101 degrees. CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME? We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered. DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS? No we do not. Our home has noise limit requirements set by the HOA. We do recommend bringing your own Bluetooth speaker to enjoy! DO YOU ALLOW PETS? Property Management provided by Oranj Palm Vacation Homes This property is professionally managed by Oranj Palm Vacation Homes and it is required to submit a signed rental agreement by the guest/tenant within 48 hours of an accepted OTA reservation. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF RENTAL: -Responsible party (YOU) must be 25 years or older per city laws to sign rental agreement. -All cancellations are subject to a $95 cancellation fee regardless of time frame. - Occupants not to exceed the number advertised. (Per city law) - Failure to submit this signed agreement within 48 hours will result in a cancellation of the reservation. And just like at home, a barking or whining dog disturbs the neighbors. -Utility Deposit Required for stays over 28-Nights: If staying in a home, or condo for 28 days or more, the property manager requires a utility processing fee and to put down a utility deposit of approximately $800.00 -$1500.00 per month, depending on property and length of stay. This deposit will be used to pay monthly gas and electric bills that when combined exceed $200.00 per month. - Violation of any rules/ordinances listed below may result in fine(s) and/or immediate eviction. Renter agrees that any such fines will be charged to the credit card on file. - NO MUSIC or SOUND (TV, cell phone, radio, etc) are allowed outside at any time. Any type of SOUND from any sound producing device is not allowed outside of your Vacation Rental unit. This includes music coming from the inside of the home that can be heard outside. If your neighbors can hear the noise, you are in violation of the City Ordinance. This is not the policy of our company. Your cooperation is appreciated. - While NO MUSIC or SOUND (TV, cell phone, radio, etc) are allowed outside at any time, QUIET TIME is between 10pm and 10am. Please consider moving indoors after 10pm. If you choose to be outside, please be considerate of the neighbors and use low voices. Please remember our neighborhoods are quiet, surrounded by mountains and voices can easily carry. -A CALL from the neighbors to the City will bring Code Compliance Officers to your door. Our officers may issue you a citation if you exceed the allowed noise levels or if another violation is observed. So please, keep the noise down and be considerate of the neighbors. You may be on vacation, but other occupants in homes around your vacation home may not be. -No smoking indoors. Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere inside the house. If smoking outside, please follow HOA rules and make sure to use an ashtray and collect all cigarette litter. - AC/Heating - Please DO NOT turn AC below 74 degrees during summer, turning AC lower than 74 will not cool the house faster and may freeze the AC system. - Please make sure you keep all doors and windows shut in summer/winter to conserve energy. We monitor energy usage at all properties, and you may be charged an additional energy fee if energy usage is 20% or more above normal. - Our properties do not include RV, trailer, 5th wheel, etc. parking. Other arrangements will need to be made. HOUSEKEEPING & MAINTENANCE: - Guest/tenant must notify upon check-in or within 24 hours of any housekeeping complaint or property maintenance issue. - Please do not place hot or wet plates or cups directly on furniture, use coasters. - Please, DO NOT attempt to fix anything yourself, please call us immediately. -Broken/Missing items: we much prefer that you report to us any items broken or missing upon your departure. We understand that accidents happen and would appreciate your honest cooperation if something went wrong while at the house. BEFORE YOU LEAVE CHECKLIST: - ALL trash should be tied in garbage bags and put in your trash bin prior to departure. Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 10:30AM. -CAN I REQUEST EARLY CHECK-IN AND/OR LATE CHECK-OUT? Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation for an additional fee, depending on whether or not there are other guests checking out on the day of your arrival or checking in on the day of your departure; our cleaning crew needs at least 5 hours to prepare the property ready for the next guests. BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE which I and the Pool Area Users may sustain while using the pool, even though such injury, damage, loss or death may have been caused by the negligence of the Landlord; INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Landlord from any And all claims, demands, actions, liability or costs, Including attorneys’ fees, which might arise out of my or The Pool Area Users’ use of the pool, even though such Claims, demands, actions and costs may have been Caused by the negligence of the Landlord. a) has the effect of releasing, discharging, waiving, and forever relinquishing any and all actions or causes of action that I may have or have had, whether past, present or future, whether known or unknown, and, whether anticipated or unanticipated by me, arising out of my or the Pool Users’ use of the pool; b) constitutes a complete release, discharge and waiver of any and all actions or causes of action against Landlord; c) applies to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death which I and the Pool Area Users may suffer, even if caused by the negligent acts or omissions of others; d) is an affirmative representation that I am assuming full responsibility for any and all risk of death or or personal injury or property damage suffered by me and the Pool Users while utilizing the pool; and e) is binding on me, my spouse, my heirs, my personal representatives, my assigns, my children and any Guardian ad litem for said children. I. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT I acknowledge that by using the pool I have read this Waiver & Release and that I understand the words and language in it. I further understand that this waiver & Release is intended to be broad and inclusive and Governed by the laws of the state of California, and i agree that if any portion is held invalid, the remainder of the Waiver & Release will continue in full legal force and effect. I further agree that the venue for any legal proceedings shall be in the county of Los Angeles, State of California. I have read and fully understand the above important information, the potential dangers incidental to using the pool, the warning of risks, assumption of risk and Waiver & Release of all claims, and I voluntarily choose to use the Pool. -CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED? During the winter, the temperature of pools can range between 50-60 degrees. If you would like the pool to be heated to 84 degrees, we charge a fee of $175/day. Please let us know in advance if you would like pool heating added to your reservation. -WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS? Chateau Giraffe is a fully furnished estate with fully stocked kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. The property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and Keurig capsules, and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper. There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with Shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry detergent. -DOES YOUR HOME HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS? Yes, but we recommend bringing a Bluetooth speaker with you, since you can arrange it where you like and is easy to connect to. Music and outdoor noise must be kept to a reasonable and respectful volume at all times, regardless of official "quiet hours". -DO YOU ALLOW PETS? Our vacation rentals are pet friendly. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. There are also fully equipped laundry rooms with 2 washers and 2 dryers, an ironing board and an iron.
