She has a strong affinity for the California Desert and wanted to create a space where she and her family or guests could come and unplug and be inspired to create in any all media, or to simply relax and reset. She wanted the space itself to be richly endowed with it’s own unique aesthetic which would help to create the most memorable experience. Upon creating another successful short-term rental home called Mulberry & Pine in Pioneertown, she embarked on the journey to create a sequel. A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed. -Property Configuration- The property is designed across two separate structures - the Main House and the Casita. The Main House includes 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, living areas, a kitchen and dining space. The Casita offers 1 additional bedroom and 1 bathroom, along with its own living room, kitchen, and dining area. Please note that the Casita is accessed via an exterior entrance. The Casita is located just a short walk (about 100m) from the Main House, creating a layout that balances togetherness with privacy. We recommend ensuring your group is comfortable with this indoor-outdoor flow prior to booking. -Pool Heating Fee- If you’d like the pool heated to 84°F, please let us know at least 24 hours before arrival. A daily fee applies due to high fuel costs. If heating for multiple days, days must be consecutive. Pool heating is usually not needed from May through September. ► May through September - $100/night if needed ► October & April - $100/night ► November through March - $150/night -Pool Service- The pool is serviced Monday & Friday, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician’s busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Dogs- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Our service professional will access the backyard directly and will not need to enter the home. PARKING: The long driveway can comfortably accommodate up to 3 vehicles. Please keep in mind it is upward sloped going up the driveway and levels out near the top where you can park. GARAGE: Please note that the control box for the garage door is not accessible. INTERNET: The house has good internet access through the satellite on the house. Cell reception may be spotty depending on your carrier. You can access your Hulu & Netflix accounts with the Smart TV. BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1: King Size Bed Bedroom 2: King Size Bed KITCHEN: Fully equipped with Cafe appliances: refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, and all the basic kitchen essentials; Pots/Pans/Plates/Cups/Utensils SECURITY: Exterior security cameras are located at the front of the house facing facing the driveway & entrance for your safety. NO cameras are located inside the property or the backyard. * Please be aware that parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited in this house. We prioritize the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests, as well as our neighbors. We kindly request that you respect this policy during your stay. Failure to do so, will result in a $500 fine for guests. * Additionally, any late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee. You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat. ◦ Additionally, any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee ◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address ◦ Pet Fee is $100 per pet. * We are unable to accommodate cats due to the owner’s severe allergy. Appreciate your understanding! ◦ RULES: Noise ordinance: Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine. ◦ SMOKING POLICY No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees ◦ Restricted Areas: Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item. ◦ Hot Tub/Pool: Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times. Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration. No drinking in the hot tub, please. Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we’re in the desert and debris can easily get into the water. Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance. ◦ Photoshoots & Video: No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee. ◦ Damage Waiver Policy Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver
