NO diving is allowed at anytime. Currently, the pool is not heated so if you are booking this home in the colder months, please be aware of this. Usually in the summer the pool will be better 70s- mid 80s. • SECOND BEDROOM The bedroom with the bunks beds - the bottom two bunk beds are the only allowable beds to be used. We do not provide any way to get to the top two bunks as they are NOT for guest use. The bottom two beds will be available for your stay. There is a full wall between the two beds and create a "pod" feeling once in the space. • OUTSIDE MUSIC Any and all amplified outside music is not allowed per the county code. We do not supply any speakers and we do not allow any speakers at the property. • PETS Pets are not allowed at this property due to the homeowner having severe allergies and asthma • ROADS This property is located on about 3 miles of dirt roads. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain • DIRECTIONS GPS should bring you easily to the property • A/C & Heater The house is cooled and heated by central heating and air conditioning to keep you comfortable all year long. • FIRE Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine. • HOT TUB + POOL - legal Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host’s employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest’s household or guest’s guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host’s agents resulting from guest’s use of the pool. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. • IDENTITY VERIFICATION You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash- encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used. Please use a cutting board. The fridge is a mini fridge, for stays over 2 night we will give access to the garage with an additional full fridge. • KIDS ROOM WITH BUNKED AND TRUNDLE Please be mindful of your children sleeping on the top bunk. By booking this home you are releasing the homeowner and management from liability for any accidents or injury. There are 3 single beds in this room; 2 bunk beds and 1 bed that pulls out from under the bunk bed • FIRE Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane fire pit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine. • FRIDGE There is a full size fridge available in the garage and a mini fridge in the kitchen • WASHER/DRYER House has a washer and dryer available to guests that are staying with us for an extended period of 3 or more days. If you are traveling with an infant or young children please let us know and we will give you access to the laundry room. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. • IDENTITY VERIFICATION You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash- encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times. - Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration. - No drinking in the hot tub, please. - Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we’re in the desert and debris can easily get into the water. - Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance. -Cowboy Tub Availability- The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - March) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking. ▵ Photoshoots & Video: No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. Please note that the cabinets in the garage are being used for storage for supplies for the rental that are locked to guests. Please note that the last 2.5 miles to the home is a dirt road, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are well maintained and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have some bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms. A personal vehicle is necessary; rideshare apps are not guaranteed in this area. -Pool Heating Fee- If you’d like the pool heated to 84°F, please let us know at least 24 hours before arrival. A daily fee applies due to high fuel costs. If heating for multiple days, days must be consecutive. Pool heating is usually not needed from May through September. ► $250 per night *No fee to heat the hot tub!* -Pool Heating- Only one of the pool or hot tub can heat at once. If you wish to use the hot tub while the pool is heating, just note that the pool heating will turn off while the hot tub heats. Once the hot tub is turned back off, the pool heating will resume. -Hot Tub Heating- Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced Tuesday and Friday, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician’s busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Pet Policy- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $1000. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Many services can come directly to the house, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable stay! -Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips- The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants.
