Our favorite weekend ritual is getting coffee and pastries at Pascaline (local French bakery 4 min away), then going for a leisurely (and kid-friendly!) bike ride on the West County Trail from Forestville to charming Graton with wonderful restaurants (Underwood, Willowood), art galleries, and wine tasting along the way. You can also visit the Russian River beaches with inner-tubing, canoeing, kayaking in the summer (15 min away), explore downtown Sebastopol (15 min – The Barlow is great!), neighboring small towns of Occidental (15 min) and lively Guerneville (20 min), bustling Santa Rosa (20 min), wonderful beaches of Bodega Bay (30 min), and fine dining and shopping in Healdsburg (30 min).
