The 4,600-square-foot California contemporary home features two master bedroom suites with adjacent bedrooms that are perfect for family groups, allowing plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and enjoy the amenities of this one-of-a-kind residence, which has ocean views from almost every room. Unparalleled privacy can be found at this gated property, which includes five bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a wine room and open floor plan that allows the living room, kitchen, dining room and family room to flow together. Californian Eclectic décor in earth tones combines rustic, classic, Eastern and contemporary influences for a truly unique ambiance. Although the location feels secluded, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to fine dining at the Carmel Highlands OTA, to a convenient corner market, or to hiking at spectacular Point Lobos. It’s also a 5-minute drive to Carmel Beach and charming Carmel-by-the-Sea, a half hour from Big Sur, and 10 minutes to shopping and dining in Pacific Grove, golfing in Pebble Beach, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complimentary wine and cheese, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear. A living room near the entrance is perfect for relaxing in front of the stone gas fireplace or watching TV. Comfortable couches surround a glass-topped table, and in the corner, a tall round table offers a place to play games or gaze at the view. A den off the living room offers a 42-inch HDTV and potential office space. The dining room seats eight, located next to a lavish wine room. The nearby gourmet kitchen includes counter seating for two and a small table for four, as well as a gas stove, knotty pine cabinetry, granite countertops, and a walk-in pantry. Completing the open floor plan is a family room with gas fireplace and 50-inch HDTV. Outside, a wraparound deck contains plenty of seating, chaise lounges and a gourmet gas grill, and is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening, or family barbecues. There are master bedroom suites and adjacent bedrooms in the wings on either end of the house. On one end, there are two bedrooms with queen beds that share a bathroom with a spacious vanity and tub/shower combo, and the master bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom. In the second master bedroom, a gas fireplace gives a cozy feeling to the room, which includes a king bed, large walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a shower stall and separate luxury tub. An adjacent family-style bedroom has two twin beds that can convert to a king, and a queen futon, which doubles as a seating area and sleeping space. The bedroom includes a 42-inch HDTV, a breakfast bar and an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo as well as a separate private entrance from the outside. This 5,042 sf, 3 bedroom, 4.5 bath home is located right on the rocks overlooking the Pacific Ocean with nearly 180 degree of white water views. The clean simple lines and spacious open floor plan are highlighted by tastefully done retro furnishings and décor. Pops of color keep this home upbeat and lively. Living Spaces A private deck with plenty of seating leads to the front door and entrance. The interior and exterior spaces flow seamlessly from one to another and floor to ceiling windows let in the views and invite you outside. Entry opens to living room with plenty of seating, wood burning fireplace, large flat screen television mounted on the wall next to the fireplace, baby grand piano, and period art pieces. The west side of this room features a wall of glass and sliding glass doors, along with a second seating area designed to take full advantage of the ocean views. A deck runs along length of home on the ocean side with multiple seating areas, propane barbecue grill and heater, fire pit table and views that just never quit. Steps from the deck lead down to a relaxed coastal garden area and a little trail to a promontory with a bench – perfect to enjoy the view or a glass of wine at sunset. A lower-level patio area is home to the hot tub. Kitchen and Dining Kitchen has a huge center island, electric cook top and wall oven, refrigerator, amazing amount of storage and work space, and provides access to a full formal butler’s pantry / bar area which opens over a service bar to the dining area. Dining area table and chairs are a retro design, very comfortable, and seat 8. Another seating area is off the dining area and kitchen which also enjoys a wood burning fireplace. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Upstairs: Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king bed, TV, seating area facing the windows with ocean views and a door leading to the upstairs deck. The suite includes two His and Her en-suite bathrooms and plenty of closet space. Downstairs: Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. Located on the west side of Highway One in the Carmel Highlands area, Ocean’s One Eleven is a prime destination for your next visit to the area. You will feel like you are away from it all in your private retreat but when you must venture out, you will find you are not far from any and all Monterey Peninsula attractions, boutique shopping, world-class golf, fine dining and a bevy of hiking options. The location is perfect for day-tripping south through Big Sur and north to Santa Cruz and even the San Francisco Bay area. Slip on your shoes and take the short trail to the nearby pebble-covered beach located just below the house. Living Spaces: The open-concept living area has a gracious living room with full ocean views, lofty ceiling, a sectional sofa, a large flat screen Smart TV and direct access to the deck. Large windows take full advantage of the white-water ocean views outside. The fireplace is purely decorative in nature (no burning) but a few battery-operated candles give off a nice glow. Radiant floor heating throughout the home contributes to a cozy feeling even if there is a winter storm outside. A separate, upstairs family room has comfy seating, Smart TV, a small fridge, closet, bathroom with shower and an upper deck perfect for viewing sunsets. Both televisions are Smart TVs so Guests can bring their logins and access their own streaming subscriptions (no cable). Kitchen and Dining: The home has a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen to inspire the chef in you with stone counter tops, stainless steel appliances, two sinks, wall oven, kitchen tools and numerous small appliances including a drip coffeemaker, Nespresso coffee maker, rice maker, electric kettle, blender, crock pot and a French press. Everyone will fight over who gets to do the washing up when they see the stunning ocean view from the kitchen sink. There are stools at the kitchen counter for casual dining plus a dining table and wet bar nearby. Bedrooms and Bathrooms: All three dedicated bedrooms are located on the lower level of the home. Bedroom #1 is a large primary suite with a king bed, ocean view and an en suite bathroom with two sinks, a jetted soaking tub and a standing shower. This bedroom has direct access to the back patio, a love seat, blackout shades and new plush carpet (2023). Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and is slightly separate from the other bedrooms. Bedroom #3 has two twin beds. Enjoy the new (2023) plush carpet. A hallway-accessed bathroom on this lower level has a tub-shower combo. The home also has a lower level half-bath. Another sleeping option is available in the upstairs family room which has a queen sleeper sofa with a plush foam topper for added comfort. The nearby bathroom on this upper level has a standing shower. The family room has direct access to an upper deck (young children should not be unattended in this area). A deck with seating is located just outside of the living room and kitchen. A small pathway laces through low native landscaping that enhance the ocean view beyond. Please note that this location is directly on a bluff immediately next to the ocean and there are no fences blocking the view. Guests should exercise prudence and supervise children when outside. This Southwestern-style hideaway overlooking the Pacific Ocean is the perfect place to get away from it all, with a romantic master bedroom suite, plenty of outdoor patio areas, and most of all, magnificent views of the ocean south of Yankee Point. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath home has floor-to-ceiling windows to take full advantage of the view, as well as open-beam ceilings, skylights, Danish modern furniture, and hardwood floors throughout. The master bedroom suite features a sitting area/TV room in addition to a huge cedar-lined walk-in closet, bathroom with dual sinks and large shower lined with glass blocks and river rock. The 2,500-square-foot residence is close to Yankee Point and other Carmel Highlands attractions, including Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. Although the area feels secluded and private, it’s just 10 minutes by car to a major shopping center and to the restaurants and galleries of Carmel-by-the-Sea. It’s also only 20 minutes to the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach, to monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village. Opposite this is a comfortable sectional couch facing a 60-inch HDTV. The adjacent dining area offers seating for six, and the nearby kitchen offers a vintage Gaggenau gas cooktop, Thermador wall ovens, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a small wood-burning fireplace. Turquoise tile countertops add a bright touch, and a double sink makes cleanup convenient. A built-in bench and a desk area offers space for sitting and reading, or doing paperwork. Down the hall are two bedrooms, both with queen beds and luxury bedding. Both have access to outside patios through sliding glass doors. A hallway bath offers dual sinks and a tub/shower combo, and also off the hall is a laundry room with washer and dryer. On the other side of the house, the master bedroom suite features a large sitting room for enjoying the 36-inch HDTV in the evenings, with a door providing private access to the back yard. The suite includes a large cedar-lined walk-in closet with plenty of room for clothing and accessories. The bath features a unique shower, big enough for two, made of river rock and glass block, as well as a private commode and his-and-hers sinks.
