The large and spacious open plan living and dining area is a great family space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day on the beach. Both Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth are dog friendly year round and if your dog loves the beach & the coastal walkies as much as ours, they will have the best holiday ever! We welcome one well behaved furry friend. There is a lock box style key safe for access. The house is roughly a 22 minute walk/ 5 minute drive down to Mawgan Porth Beach (don’t forget you will have to come back UP the hill if you decide to walk). We would suggest you drive to the front of the house to get the key from the keysafe and that person opens the back door to let the driver in the rear of the house once they have parked the car.

You can visit St. Eval, Porthcothan Bay, St Merryn, Harlyn Bay or Padstow. To the south its every 2 hours on the hour and you can get to Newquay, Porth, Watergate Bay and Tregurrian. Newquay Airport is a 10 minute drive in either a taxi or there is a bus every 2 hours. There is a "Pick n Mix" selection of Boogie boards and wetsuits in the garage, feel free to borrow them if you are heading to the beach! Totally secluded and private, Sandcrest Cottage offers accommodation for up to six guests. The house is exceptionally spacious, light and airy. The open plan living area features a log burner, a large L-shaped sofa, flat screen HD TV with Sky, DVD and high speed Wi-Fi. The open plan kitchen has a large dining room table, a fully equipped kitchen with an en-suite utility room, which includes a sink, washing machine, dishwasher, extra fridge freezer and a small office area.Accommodation consists of two-ground floor double bedrooms. The master bedroom features a high apex ceiling with skylight window, walk in wardrobe shower room, and doors that open onto the deck. The living space is dominated by a very large L-shaped coach which features a glass fronted wood burner, and flat screen smart TV. The cliffs at Bedruthan have been systematically eroded over the years, leaving a series of impressive volcanic rock stacks.  Other attractions include the huge rock formations known as the “giant’s steps”.
