The School House is an ultra stylish holiday let, just a short walk from the Cathedral and the city centre so you can discover all that historic Hereford has to offer! You’ll have exclusive access to the entire house where you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect for families and couples, The School House is the ultimate home from home providing a luxury stay for up to four guests. From the outside The School House has a narrow frontage but it’s deceptively spacious once you’re inside. Every care has been taken to decorate and style the interiors so you can enjoy a wonderful stay. The modern kitchen has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric fan assisted oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. The large island provides a great, sociable dining space but there’s also a table and four chairs outside in the enclosed, private garden for warmer days. The house enjoys superfast WiFi, and the lounge has a 40" smart TV with Netflix included. There are two ensuite bedrooms to sleep four guests. In the master bedroom, you will find a king-size bed and a workspace/dressing area, whilst the second bedroom has a double bed. The master bedroom ensuite bathroom has a luxurious free-standing bath and large walk-in shower, a large basin with drawer storage, and a toilet. The second ensuite has a corner, walk-in shower, toilet and basin with storage. A separate ground floor WC is also available at The School House for added convenience. Luxury toiletries from Land & Water, crisp white linen and fluffy towels are all included so you get that boutique hotel feel but with the benefit of having all the space to yourselves - ideal if you’re travelling with friends, family or children! A travel cot, high chair and toddler dining set are also provided for little ones. Guests have access to the full property. There is a parking permit at the property which allows guests to park one vehicle close by, where a space is available. There are also a number of pay and display car parks in the local area. Hereford lies on the border with Wales, hugged by the Malvern Hills and the Black Mountains. It takes under two hours to drive from Bristol, Birmingham, Oxford and Cardiff, with London and Manchester within three hours. If you are travelling by train, the railway station at Hereford has direct trains running to Birmingham, Chester, Manchester, Cardiff, Carmarthen and Holyhead, with a maximum journey time of 1½ hours. The are regular bus services to Gloucester, Worcester and Monmouth. Bristol Airport is 48 miles away from Hereford.

The kitchen itself is fully equipped with everything you need with the AGA, microwave, kettle, SMEG fridge/freezer, dishwasher and kitchenware which can be found in the oak dresser. Outside you’ll find a large enclosed garden. Go alfresco and make the most of the outdoor corner sofa and dining table. This space is also ideal for families with children and dogs, providing plenty of space for them to wander around in a secure environment. Guests have access to the full house. The keys to the property will be given to guests upon arrival. There is free on-site parking for up to four vehicles outside the property. Please note that Tregaer Mill Barn has two floors with all two of the bedrooms being situated on the first floor which can only be accessed via stairs. The third bedroom is on the ground floor. We welcome well behaved dogs at Tregear Mill Barn but we ask that they are kept downstairs at all times. Please also note that the property is in a peaceful rural location on a winding country lane, although only a few minutes drive from the village of Raglan. Guests should also be aware that the property has its own water supply and mobile phone reception is limited. The closest train stations to Tregaer Mill Barn are in Chepstow and Abergavenny which are both roughly a 20-minute drive away. Chepstow has regular routes to Cardiff, Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa, whilst Abergavenny gives you quick access to Llanelli, Carmarthen and Manchester. Newport station is a 30 minute drive with direct trains to London in as little as 1 hour 35 minutes. Taxis are available at each of the stations.
