And with five bathrooms, an outdoor hot tub with wonderful mountain views, a sauna and a cinema room, it has everything you need for a wonderful holiday with family and friends. You will also be able to organise your own wine tastings in the refined and cosy atmosphere of the property’s carnotzet (traditional wine cellar). This former farmhouse has been very carefully renovated and furnished in a traditional Alpine style, but it also boasts all the contemporary comforts you look for on a holiday - a well-equipped, open-plan kitchen, a home cinema room with Netflix and Apple TV, a Sonos sound system and a desk if you want to work during your holidays. The open-plan living area has a large dining table where everyone can eat together, and a cosy seating area around a fire. The terraced garden has several seating areas and terraces where you can enjoy the wonderful village and mountain views while the children have fun in the delightful playhouse. This level is bathed in sunshine throughout that day and takes advantage of this with wrap round windows that open on to views of the surrounding mountains and forest below. Outside, there is a dining table and parasol, which are positioned to enjoy the morning sunshine, and there is a further dining table which has the perfect position for evening sunsets and alfresco dinners. A balcony looks out towards the surrounding Alpine peaks, and the apartment is about a 10-minute walk from the centre and lifts. The main living area is open plan, with the kitchen, dining, and lounge arranged in one space. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the interior has a more traditional alpine feel with wood throughout. A gym and sauna are available within the residence, open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:45 PM, along with communal bike storage available on a first-come basis. Morzine’s centre, shops and lifts are a short walk away. Winter centres on skiing across the Portes du Soleil area, with sledging on Le Pleney and snowshoe trails for quieter days. In summer, the valley turns to white-water rafting on the Dranse, canyoning near the Nyon waterfall and paragliding, alongside hiking and mountain biking routes.
