Highlights This beautifully renovated chalet was entirely renewed inside in 2018 with a traditional "old wood" style.  Named after the ancient waterway that runs along the mountainside past the property and through La Tzoumaz, Chalet Vieux Bisse is a superb location for your getaway holiday in either winter or summer.  The original building has been transformed into a two-bedroom chalet on two floors with an open living space on the main floor, and a wooden ladder leading to an open mezzanine area overhead.  Along with the fully-fitted kitchen, Cable TV and WiFi complete the modernisation.   Bedrooms & Bathrooms Sleeping up to six people, there are two wood-clad double bedrooms, plus two single mattresses on the open mezzanine area overlooking the living area. The main piste leads down from this roundabout to the Savoleyres telecabin. The modern high-speed telecabin carries you from La Tzoumaz up to the top of the Savoleyres in less than 8 minutes, from where you can decide to ski back on the quiet La Tzoumaz slopes or ski down to Verbier’s legendary slopes and world-class off-piste opportunities in the vast 4-Valleys ski area.Summer In the peak summer season (from early July to late August), we provide you with free VIP pedestrian lift-passes, half-price mountain-bike daypasses and a range of other discounts. The telecabin link to Verbier operates daily at this time of year from 08:45 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 16:45, meaning that you can easily access the famous resort as a pedestrian, or accompanied by your bicycle or e-bike. For a small supplement you can even use a variety of mountain lifts to make your way up to Mont Fort at 3300m for the highest fondue in Europe and incredible mountain panoramas that include Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.In summer, the area turns into a hiking and mountain biking paradise, with hundreds of kilometres of marked trails criss-crossing the mountains, awash with alpine flowers and a range of wildlife to spot. Visit the Maison de la Foret with its wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail, and the starting point of many beautiful hikes. The Bisses are relatively flat footpaths that follow the water as it trickles around the mountainsides, where for centuries farmers and villagers channelled the streams for their own uses. They have been preserved and can now be an incredible way to spend a day or more on easy hikes with stunning views across the Rhone Valley or over to the Massif des Combins. We will provide you with plenty of tourist information including our favourite suggestions for day trips that are easily reachable from La Tzoumaz, from spectacular gorge walks, cheese factories and roman festivals to rainy-day ideas such as underground lake tours. The road that winds up the mountain-top to the panoramic Croix-de-Coeur Cafe-Restaurant opens as soon as the snow melts and from here you can continue the drive (or cycle) all the way down into Verbier. A stunning 5-star, 5-bedroom cabin. Welcome to Chalet Teremok, filled with top-notch design and decor from amazing global galleries. Chalet Teremok is a beautifully decorated chalet offering all the luxury and comfort of home, split over 3 floors, boasting an extensive open plan living space with double-height beamed ceilings. The area is very quiet and pleasant. This beautiful chalet is ideal for a holiday with family or friends. The chalet also has a large garden with a breathtaking view over the mountains, with a barbecue and table tennis in the summer. The chalet’s main living space is on the ground floor and is open plan. On one side there is a seating area and on the opposite side is a dining table easily seating 10. The living room features a double-height ceiling and views of the mezzanine above. Large bay windows provide access to the balcony and terrace with outdoor furniture, with breathtaking views of La Tzoumaz and Rhone Valley.  The kitchen is alongside the open plan living space from the living space and is fully equipped with everything you need.  The chalet has five bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 people, with the option of adding sleeping space for 3 people. On the ground floor,  there are two double bedrooms separated by a family bathroom. Both bedrooms are furnished with a beautiful double bed. Two further bedrooms are located on the lower floor, also furnished with comfortable double beds. The last bedroom is located on the upper floor and offers two single beds.  There are two additional sleeping spaces, with a single pull-out sofa on the mezzanine, and a pullout double sofa bed in the sitting room.  The chalet boasts a calming wellness area on the lower ground, complete with a sauna and a large corner sauna with ceiling to floor door and window, perfect for savoring in those views after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The chalet is located just on the outskirts of the center of La Tzoumaz, only a 10-minute walk from the ski lifts and local shop. An alternative in good snow conditions is to ski down through the gardens to the bus stop below (good skiers only). From here the free skibus takes you to the Savoleyres telecabin in a matter of minutes.  The modern high-speed telecabin carries you from La Tzoumaz up to the top of the Savoleyres in less than 8 minutes, from where you can decide to ski back on the quiet La Tzoumaz slopes or ski down to Verbier’s legendary slopes and world-class off-piste opportunities in the vast 4-Valleys ski area.  It is possible for good skiers to ski back to the chalet in good conditions by following the tracks through the forest and around the neighbouring chalets.Summer In the peak summer season (from early July to late August), we provide you with free VIP pedestrian lift-passes, half-price mountain-bike daypasses and a range of other discounts. The telecabin link to Verbier operates daily at this time of year from 08:45 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 16:45, meaning that you can easily access the famous resort as a pedestrian, or accompanied by your bicycle or e-bike. For a small supplement you can even use a variety of mountain lifts to make your way up to Mont Fort at 3300m for the highest fondue in Europe and incredible mountain panoramas that include Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.In summer, the area turns into a hiking and mountain biking paradise, with hundreds of kilometres of marked trails criss-crossing the mountains, awash with alpine flowers and a range of wildlife to spot. Visit the Maison de la Foret with its wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail, and the starting point of many beautiful hikes. The Bisses are relatively flat footpaths that follow the water as it trickles around the mountainsides, where for centuries farmers and villagers channelled the streams for their own uses. They have been preserved and can now be an incredible way to spend a day or more on easy hikes with stunning views across the Rhone Valley or over to the Massif des Combins. We will provide you with plenty of tourist information including our favourite suggestions for day trips that are easily reachable from La Tzoumaz, from spectacular gorge walks, cheese factories and roman festivals to rainy-day ideas such as underground lake tours. The road that winds up the mountain-top to the panoramic Croix-de-Coeur Cafe-Restaurant opens as soon as the snow melts and from here you can continue the drive (or cycle) all the way down into Verbier. Try not to miss the Swiss National Celebrations in La Tzoumaz on August 1st, or the famous festival of live music performances, the Verbier Festival, which runs from mid-July to the beginning of August.For families The centre of La Tzoumaz benefits from an outdoor ice-skating rink in winter, and a children's playground area in summer, with a rope-based agility park alongside more traditional equipment such as slides.  A fun channel system with running water is built into the hillside to provide plenty of entertainment for older children too. At the exit of the village the Domus playground is a fabulous spot, often bathed in late afternoon sunshine, with swings, a zipline, see-saw, climbing frames and even old tractors to clamber on.  It is overlooked by an outdoor cafe (check opening hours) providing drinks, snacks and ice-creams. There are rabbits, donkeys, goats, and there is also rock-climbing on the local crag in the background (contact us for equipment and instructors).The Maison de la Foret has a cafe area for drinks and snacks (check opening hours), wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail with hands-on activities to borrow such as bird-whistling and learning to draw.
