THE NEIGHBORHOOD For over two decades, Sheinkin Street has been known as Tel Aviv’s heart and soul. Described as "The Israeli SoHo", famous for its cafés, restaurants, bars, avant-garde fashion shops and many nearby local attractions. Rothschild boulevard is also very close - a great place to walk around, enjoy classic and bauhaus architecture while sipping a freshly squeezed juice from one of the many kiosks. The famous Carmel market is also within walking distance from the apartment as well as the Kerem Hateimanim where you can walk during the day and party at night in one of the many bars. GETTING AROUND You can do everything on foot or rent a city bicycle from a nearby station on Sheinkin street. There are countless buses running from Rothschild boulevard and Allenby street which will take you about anywhere in Tel Aviv and around. If you plan on using buses or trains, you’ll need to purchase a RavKav card (available at the airport or in the train stations) and load some money on it using the RavKav app on your phone. Dizengoff street in one direction and the famous Carmel market in the other are within walking distance as well. Highly recommended in the Imperial cocktail bar and restaurant, right across the street. There is no shortage of eateries, shops, and cafes in the immediate vicinity and you’ll be able fully enjoy the Tel Aviv life style with minimum planning. Shabazi street is Neve Tzedek’s main street and host to all kinds of boutiques, shops, cafes & restaurants. The Carmel Market is 1500m from the apartment Jaffa main square (the Clock Square) is 1000m from the apartment down Eilat street. The closest beach is 1200m away. The residence is also located on the verge of Florentin neighborhood, famous for its artistic scene and eclectic night life. There is a children playground just by the building. The Ramat Aviv Canyon (mall) is about a 15-minute walk and 4 minutes with the car. Within 5 minutes walk: grocery store, butcher, pharmacy, hairdresser. The apartment is 5-10 minutes drive from the port of Tel Aviv (Namal). Tel Baruch Beach is about 10 minutes walk, a a couple of minutes by car (There is a paying parking lot by the beach). GETTING AROUND There are countless buses running on Namir road which will take you about anywhere in Tel Aviv and to the northern cities. If you plan on using buses or trains, you’ll need to purchase a RavKav card (available at the airport or in the train stations) and load some money on it using the RavKav app on your phone.
