In recent years Kalopanagiotis has undergone a major revitalisation with emphasis on maintaining the traditional architecture, culture and cuisine turning this typical picturesque village into one of the most sought after areas of the Troodos Mountain resort. Most people visit the village to enjoy the tranquility, the good food, the nature trails and to breathe the clean air of the region. Kalopanagiotis, however, has a lot more to offer. The Lampadistis Monastery a UNESCO heritage site is one of the main points of interest as are the traditional architecture, the sulphur springs, the water mill, and the evergreen valley.
